상기 패널 식별 영역에서 상기 제1 보호막과 상기 게이트 절연막을 관통하고, 상기 패널 식별층의 적어도 일부가 제거된 제1 홀을 더 구비하는 표시장치. - 제 3 항에 있어서,
상기 제1 홀은 상기 패널 식별층을 관통하고, 상기 기판의 일부가 제거된 표시장치. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 평탄화막과 상기 제2 보호막 사이에 배치된 화소 전극; 및
상기 제2 보호막 상에 배치된 공통 전극을 더 구비하는 표시장치. - 제 5 항에 있어서,
상기 패널 식별 영역의 주변에서 상기 평탄화막 상에 배치된 식각 방지층을 더 구비하는 표시장치. - 제 6 항에 있어서,
상기 화소 전극과 상기 식각 방지층은 동일한 층에 배치되며, 동일한 물질로 이루어진 표시장치. - 제 6 항에 있어서,
상기 제2 보호막은 상기 화소 전극과 상기 식각 방지층 상에 배치된 표시장치. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 제2 보호막은 상기 패널 식별 영역에서 상기 평탄화막의 경사면 상에 배치된 표시장치. - 제 9 항에 있어서,
상기 패널 식별 영역에서 상기 평탄화막의 경사면과 상기 제2 보호막 사이에 배치된 식각 방지층을 더 구비하는 표시장치. - 기판 상에서 화소들을 포함하는 표시영역에 게이트 전극을 형성하고, 비표시영역의 패널 식별 영역에 패널 식별층을 형성하는 단계;
상기 게이트 전극 상에 게이트 절연막을 형성하는 단계;
상기 게이트 절연막 상에 제1 보호막을 형성하는 단계;
상기 제1 보호막 상에 평탄화막을 형성하고, 상기 패널 식별 영역에서 상기 평탄화막을 제거하는 단계;
상기 표시영역의 상기 평탄화막 상에 화소 전극을 형성하고, 상기 패널 식별 영역의 상기 제1 보호막과 상기 평탄화막 상에 식각 방지층을 형성하는 단계;
상기 화소 전극과 상기 식각 방지층 상에 제2 보호막을 형성하는 단계;
상기 패널 식별 영역에 형성된 제2 보호막을 제거하는 단계; 및
상기 제2 보호막 상에 공통 전극을 형성하고 상기 식각 방지층을 제거하는 단계를 포함하는 표시장치의 제조방법. - 제 11 항에 있어서,
상기 기판 상에서 상기 표시영역에 상기 게이트 전극을 형성하고, 상기 비표시영역의 상기 패널 식별 영역에 패널 식별층을 형성하는 단계는,
상기 기판 상에 상기 게이트 전극과 상기 패널 식별층을 동일한 물질로 동시에 형성하는 표시장치의 제조방법. - 제 11 항에 있어서,
상기 표시영역의 상기 평탄화막 상에 화소 전극을 형성하고, 상기 패널 식별 영역의 상기 제1 보호막 상과 상기 평탄화막 상에 식각 방지층을 형성하는 단계는,
상기 화소 전극과 상기 식각 방지층을 동일한 물질로 동시에 형성하는 표시장치의 제조방법. - 제 11 항에 있어서,
상기 패널 식별 영역에 형성된 제2 보호막을 제거하는 단계는,
상기 패널 식별 영역 주변에 형성된 식각 방지층은 잔존하는 표시장치의 제조방법. - 제 11 항에 있어서,
상기 제2 보호막 상에 공통 전극을 형성하고 상기 식각 방지층을 제거하는 단계는,
상기 제2 보호막 상에 공통 금속층을 형성하는 단계; 및
습식 식각 공정으로 상기 공통 금속층을 식각하여 공통 전극을 패터닝함과 동시에 상기 식각 방지층을 식각하는 단계를 포함하는 표시장치의 제조방법. - 제 11 항에 있어서,
레이저를 이용하여 상기 패널 식별 영역에서 상기 제1 보호막과 상기 게이트 절연막을 관통하고, 상기 패널 식별층의 적어도 일부를 제거하여 제1 홀을 형성함으로써 상기 패널 식별층에 패널 식별 수단을 형성하는 단계를 더 포함하는 표시장치의 제조방법. - 제 16 항에 있어서,
상기 제1 홀은 상기 패널 식별층을 관통하고, 상기 기판의 일부가 제거된 표시장치의 제조방법.
