Claims (22)
- 다수의 데이터 라인과 다수의 게이트 라인이 배치되며, 서로 다른 발광 방향을 갖는 하나 이상의 제1영역과 하나 이상의 제2영역으로 분할된 디스플레이 패널;
상기 다수의 데이터 라인을 구동하는 데이터 구동 회로; 및
상기 다수의 게이트 라인을 구동하는 게이트 구동 회로를 포함하고,
상기 제1영역과 상기 제2영역 중 한 영역은 다른 영역보다 저해상도 영역이고,
상기 저해상도 영역에서는, 상기 제1영역과 상기 제2영역 중 다른 하나의 영역 보다 서브픽셀 개수가 작아지도록 상기 다수의 게이트 라인 중 일부 및 상기 다수의 데이터 라인 중 일부가 배치되며,
상기 제1영역과 상기 제2영역은, 상기 디스플레이 패널에서 서로 접하도록 배치됨에 따라 형성되는 경계선을 따라 폴딩되고, 폴딩되는 상기 경계선을 중심으로 상기 디스플레이 패널의 평면도 상에서 서로 다른 영역에서 서로 다른 발광 방향을 갖도록 배치되는 디스플레이 디바이스. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 제1영역과 상기 제2영역에는,
기판과,
상기 기판 상의 제1전극과,
상기 제1전극 상의 유기층과,
상기 유기층 상의 제2전극이 적층되고,
상기 제1영역과 상기 제2영역 중 한 영역에서는 상기 기판과 상기 제1전극 사이에 하부 반사층이 더 배치되고,
상기 제1영역과 상기 제2영역 중 다른 한 영역에서는 상기 제2전극 상에 상부 반사층이 더 배치되는 디스플레이 디바이스. - 제2항에 있어서,
상기 기판은,
글래스 또는 플렉서블 필름 기판인 디스플레이 디바이스. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 제2영역은 상기 제1영역보다 작은 크기를 갖는 디스플레이 디바이스. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 각 제1영역은 상기 각 제2영역과 대응되는 크기를 갖는 디스플레이 디바이스. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 제1영역과 상기 제2영역 중 한 영역은 화상 표시 영역이고 다른 영역은 부가 정보 표시 영역인 디스플레이 디바이스. - 삭제
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 제1영역과 상기 제2영역의 상기 경계선의 방향을 제1방향이라고 할 때,
상기 제2영역의 제1방향 길이는 상기 제1영역의 제1방향 길이보다 짧은 디스플레이 디바이스. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 제1영역과 상기 제2영역의 상기 경계선의 방향을 제1방향이라고 할 때,
상기 제2영역의 제1방향 길이는 상기 제1영역의 제1방향 길이와 대응되는 디스플레이 디바이스. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 디스플레이 패널은,
상기 제1영역과 상기 제2영역의 각 경계 지점에서 폴딩 되거나,
상기 제1영역 또는 상기 제2영역이 둘 이상의 서브 영역으로 분할되는 지점에서 폴딩 되는 디스플레이 디바이스. - 제10항에 있어서,
상기 디스플레이 패널은,
상기 제1영역과 상기 제2영역의 각 경계 지점에서 폴딩 되는 경우,
상기 제2영역이 상기 제1영역의 전체 또는 일부를 커버하는 디스플레이 디바이스. - 제10항에 있어서,
상기 디스플레이 패널은,
하나의 제1영역이 둘 이상의 서브 영역으로 분할되는 지점에서 폴딩되는 경우,
상기 둘 이상의 서브 영역 중 적어도 하나의 서브 영역은 다른 서브 영역을 커버하는 디스플레이 디바이스. - 제10항에 있어서,
상기 디스플레이 패널이 폴딩 된 경우, 상기 제1영역과 상기 제2영역 중 하나는 표시 오프 영역이고, 나머지 하나는 표시 온 영역인 디스플레이 디바이스. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 제1영역과 상기 제2영역의 상기 경계선은 게이트 라인과 평행한 디스플레이 디바이스. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 제1영역과 상기 제2영역의 상기 경계선은 데이터 라인과 평행한 디스플레이 디바이스. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 게이트 구동 회로는,
상기 제1영역에 배치된 서브픽셀들을 발광시키기 위한 게이트 라인들을 구동하는 제1 게이트 구동부; 및
상기 제2영역에 배치된 서브픽셀들을 발광시키기 위한 게이트 라인들을 구동하는 제2 게이트 구동부를 포함하는 디스플레이 디바이스. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 데이터 구동 회로는,
상기 제1영역에 배치된 서브픽셀들을 발광시키기 위한 데이터 라인들을 구동하는 제1 데이터 구동부; 및
상기 제2영역에 배치된 서브픽셀들을 발광시키기 위한 데이터 라인들을 구동하는 제2 데이터 구동부를 포함하는 디스플레이 디바이스. - 디스플레이 패널에 있어서,
기판;
상기 기판 상의 제1전극;
상기 제1전극 상의 유기층; 및
상기 유기층 상의 제2전극을 포함하고,
상기 디스플레이 패널은,
하나 이상의 제1영역과 하나 이상의 제2영역으로 분할되고,
상기 제1영역과 상기 제2영역이 서로 다른 발광 방향을 갖도록, 상기 기판과 상기 제1전극 사이에 위치하되 상기 제1영역에서만 존재하는 하부 반사층과, 상기 제2전극 상에 위치하되 상기 제2영역에서만 존재하는 상부 반사층을 더 포함하고,
상기 제1영역과 상기 제2영역 중 한 영역은 다른 영역보다 저해상도 영역이고,
상기 저해상도 영역에서는, 상기 제1영역과 상기 제2영역 중 다른 하나의 영역 보다 서브픽셀 개수가 작아지도록 게이트 라인 및 데이터 라인이 배치되며,
상기 제1영역과 상기 제2영역은, 상기 디스플레이 패널에서 서로 접하도록 배치됨에 따라 형성되는 경계선을 따라 폴딩되고, 폴딩되는 상기 경계선을 중심으로 상기 디스플레이 패널의 평면도 상에서 서로 다른 영역에서 서로 다른 발광 방향을 갖도록 배치되는 디스플레이 패널. - 기판;
상기 기판의 제1영역에 배치되는 상부 발광 소자; 및
상기 기판의 상기 제1영역과 중첩되지 않는 제2영역에 배치되는 하부 발광 소자를 포함하고,
상기 제1영역과 상기 제2영역 중 한 영역은 다른 영역보다 저해상도 영역이고,
상기 저해상도 영역에서는, 상기 제1영역과 상기 제2영역 중 다른 하나의 영역 보다 서브픽셀 개수가 작아지도록 게이트 라인 및 데이터 라인이 배치되며,
상기 제1영역과 상기 제2영역은, 디스플레이 패널에서 서로 접하도록 배치됨에 따라 형성되는 경계선을 따라 폴딩되고, 폴딩되는 상기 경계선을 중심으로 상기 디스플레이 패널의 평면도 상에서 서로 다른 영역에서 서로 다른 발광 방향을 갖도록 배치되는 디스플레이 패널. - 디스플레이 디바이스에 있어서,
복수의 파트로 폴딩 가능하는 바디; 및
상기 바디 내 수납되는 구동 칩을 포함하고,
상기 복수의 파트 중 하나 이상의 제1파트에는 프런트 스크린(Front Screen)이 구비되고, 나머지 파트 중에서 하나 이상의 제2파트에는 리어 스크린(Rear Screen)이 구비되며,
상기 디스플레이 디바이스가 접힌 상태에서, 상기 하나 이상의 제2파트에 구비된 상기 리어 스크린은 외부로 노출되고 문자, 기호 및 이미지 중 적어도 하나를 포함하는 부가 정보를 표시하고,
상기 제2파트에 구비된 상기 리어 스크린은 저해상도 영역이고,
상기 제2파트의 상기 저해상도 영역에서는 상기 제1파트의 영역 보다 서브픽셀 개수가 작아지도록 게이트 라인 및 데이터 라인이 배치되며,
상기 제1파트와 상기 제2파트는, 디스플레이 패널에서 서로 접하도록 배치됨에 따라 형성되는 경계선을 따라 폴딩되고, 폴딩되는 상기 경계선을 중심으로 상기 디스플레이 패널의 평면도 상에서 서로 다른 영역에서 서로 다른 발광 방향을 갖도록 배치되는 디스플레이 디바이스. - 제20항에 있어서,
상기 프런트 스크린은,
기판 상의 상부 발광 소자 또는 하부 발광 소자가 서브픽셀마다 배치되고,
상기 리어 스크린은,
상기 기판 상의 하부 발광 소자 또는 상부 발광 소자가 서브픽셀마다 배치되는 디스플레이 디바이스. - 제21항에 있어서,
상기 상부 발광 소자는,
상기 기판 상의 하부 반사판;
상기 하부 반사판 상의 제1전극;
상기 제1전극 상의 유기층; 및
상기 유기층 상의 제2전극으로 구성되고,
상기 하부 발광 소자는,
상기 기판 상의 상기 제1전극;
상기 제1전극 상의 상기 유기층;
상기 유기층 상의 상기 제2전극; 및
상기 제2전극 상의 상부 반사층으로 구성되는 디스플레이 디바이스.
