Description

Peripheral Interlocking Digital Signage System {Digital Signage System}

The present invention relates to a digital signage system, and more particularly, to a peripheral device linked digital signage system capable of displaying information transmitted from a peripheral device.

Traditional advertising methods have been to provide flyers with advertising content offline or online through TV, radio, and Internet media. Such an advertisement method not only provides fixed information unilaterally, but also makes it difficult to quickly modify, change, and update the pre-produced advertisement contents because the owners and producers of the advertisement contents are different.

It is digital signage that emerged from the traditional advertising method. Digital signage is a media playback device that includes a display panel generally used for marketing and advertising. Unlike existing signage advertisements, digital signage can easily change the contents displayed, and companies are using it to play contents for the purpose of promoting their products and enhancing their image. Similar to general advertising media, digital signage is installed and operated in places with a lot of floating populations such as marts, airports and stations.

However, the current advertising method using digital signage is operated by simply exposing the content repeatedly to an unspecified number of people, as well as exposing only the advertisement content provided by the advertiser and thus cannot be used highly. In addition, there is a limit in maximizing the economic effect of signage operation for signage operators or advertisers due to the limitation of signage utilization.
