도 2는 본 발명에 따른 복합 편광판의 층 구성의 다른 예를 도시하는 개략 단면도이다.
도 3은 본 발명에 따른 액정 표시 장치의 층 구성의 일례를 도시하는 개략 단면도이다.
도 4는 CCFL 타입의 백라이트에 액정 셀을 적층하여 측정한 발광 스펙트럼의 일례를 도시하는 그래프이다.
도 5는 고연색(高演色) 타입 LED의 백라이트에 액정 셀을 적층하여 측정한 발광 스펙트럼의 일례를 도시하는 그래프이다.
도 6은 모의 백색 타입 LED의 백라이트에 액정 셀을 적층하여 측정한 발광 스펙트럼의 일례를 도시하는 그래프이다.
Claims (9)
- 흡수형 편광판과, 그 위에 적층되는 반사형 편광판을 포함하고,
상기 흡수형 편광판은, 시감도 보정 단체(單體) 투과율이 41.8~43.5%이고,
상기 반사형 편광판은, 파장 450~550 nm에 있어서의 시감도 보정 직교 투과율이 4% 이하이고,
상기 반사형 편광판의 반사축과 상기 흡수형 편광판의 흡수축이 이루는 각도가 0±4°인 복합 편광판. - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 흡수형 편광판은, 시감도 보정 단체 투과율이 42.6~43.5%인 복합 편광판.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 흡수형 편광판은, 시감도 보정 편광도가 99.9% 이상인 복합 편광판.
- 삭제
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 흡수형 편광판은, 편광자와, 그의 적어도 한쪽의 면에 적층되는 수지 필름을 포함하는 복합 편광판.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 흡수형 편광판은, 상기 편광자와, 그의 한쪽의 면에 접착제층을 통해 적층되는 아세트산셀룰로오스계 수지 필름과, 다른 쪽의 면에 접착제층을 통해 적층되는 환상 폴리올레핀계 수지 필름을 포함하는 복합 편광판.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 흡수형 편광판은, 상기 편광자와, 그의 한쪽의 면에 접착제층을 통해 적층되는 아세트산셀룰로오스계 수지 필름 또는 환상 폴리올레핀계 수지 필름을 포함하고,
상기 반사형 편광판은, 상기 편광자의 다른 쪽의 면, 또는 상기 아세트산셀룰로오스계 수지 필름 혹은 상기 환상 폴리올레핀계 수지 필름의 면에 점착제층 혹은 접착제층을 통해 적층되는 복합 편광판. - 백라이트, 제1항 내지 제3항 및 제5항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 기재한 복합 편광판 및 액정 셀을 이 순서로 포함하고,
상기 복합 편광판은, 그의 흡수형 편광판이 상기 액정 셀 측이 되도록 배치되는 액정 표시 장치. - 제8항에 있어서, 상기 백라이트에 상기 액정 셀을 적층하여, 상기 백라이트을 점등한 상태에서 측정되는 발광 스펙트럼에 있어서, 청색, 녹색, 황색 및 적색의 발광 피크 파장에 있어서의 발광 강도를 각각 L(Bmax), L(Gmax), L(Ymax) 및 L(Rmax)로 할 때, 하기 식 (1) 또는 하기 식 (2)를 만족하는 액정 표시 장치.
