Abstract
상기 유기전계발광 소자에 발광 개시전압 이하의 전압을 인가하고, 주파수 0.1MHz∼1MHz의 범위에서 임피던스 분광법에 의해 측정하여 얻어진 M 플롯에 있어서의 허수부 M"의 최대값이 0.7nF-1 이하인 대략 원호부의 수를 m이라 하고 상기 유기층(단, p형 도프층, n형 도프층을 제외함)의 층수를 n이라 하면, 다음식, n>m을 만족시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광 소자를 제공한다.

- 양극과 음극 사이에 적어도 발광층을 포함하는 유기층을 갖는 유기전계발광 소자의 평가 방법으로서:
평가 대상의 유기전계발광 소자에 발광 개시전압 이하의 전압을 인가하고, 주파수 0.1MHz∼1MHz의 범위에서 임피던스 분광법에 의해 측정하여 얻어진 M 플롯에 있어서의 허수부 M"의 최대값이 0.7nF-1 이하인 원호부의 수를 m이라 하고 상기 유기층(단, p형 도프층, n형 도프층을 제외함)의 층수를 n이라 하면, 다음식, n>m을 만족시키는 경우에는, 상기 평가 대상의 유기전계발광 소자가 양호하다라고 평가하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광 소자의 평가 방법. - 제 5 항에 있어서,

상기 유기전계발광 소자에 있어서, 초기의 M 플롯에 있어서의 원호부의 수와 구동시의 발광 휘도가 초기 발광 휘도보다 30% 저하했을 때의 M 플롯에 있어서의 원호부의 수가 동일한 경우에는, 평가 대상의 유기전계발광 소자가 양호하다라고 평가하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기전계발광 소자의 평가 방법.
