Description
The present invention relates to a method for producing an aluminum-resin composite in which a resin composition is adhered to the surface of an aluminum-made component.
Techniques for integrating aluminum and resin in a wide range of industrial fields have been developed, centering on the electric and automotive fields. BACKGROUND ART Conventionally, an adhesive is generally used for bonding aluminum and resin, and a large number of adhesives have been developed for this reason. However, the use of an adhesive made the production process complicated, and caused a rise in product cost. Further, when an adhesive is used, the bonding strength at a high temperature is lowered, so that application to applications requiring heat resistance, such as automobiles, becomes difficult.
Therefore, in recent years, a technique of integrating aluminum and resin without using an adhesive has been researched. For example,
According to the method described in
However, in the method described in
The present invention has been made in view of the problems of the prior art as described above, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a method of manufacturing an aluminum-resin composite which can improve the adhesion between aluminum and a resin composition without using an adhesive, do.
The present invention is a method for producing an aluminum-resin composite in which a roughening step of roughening the surface of an aluminum part with an etching agent and an adhering step of adhering the resin composition to the roughened surface are carried out. At least one of the etchants is an alkali-based etchant containing an amphoteric metal ion, an oxidizing agent, an alkaline source, and a thio compound.
In the present invention, the alkaline etching agent is used as at least one of the etching agents for roughening the aluminum parts. Since this etching agent does not need to contain a component having high toxicity, the waste liquid treatment is easy. By the treatment with the above specific etching agent, unevenness suitable for improving the adhesion between the aluminum-resin composition is formed, and the adhesion between the aluminum-resin composition is improved by the anchor effect.
The term " aluminum " in the present invention may be composed of aluminum or an aluminum alloy. In the present specification, " aluminum " refers to aluminum or an aluminum alloy.
The "roughening treatment" in the present invention refers to a treatment in which the surface roughness (Ra) of the surface of the aluminum component is made larger than that before the treatment by bringing the etching agent into contact with the aluminum component.
According to the present invention, since the surface of an aluminum part is roughened with a specific etching agent, it is possible to improve the adhesion between aluminum and the resin composition without using an adhesive, .

Aluminum parts]
As long as the aluminum component (hereinafter also referred to as " component ") usable in the present embodiment has a shape capable of forming an aluminum-resin composite (hereinafter also referred to as " composite ") by attaching the resin composition, The shape thereof is not particularly limited. It is preferable that the aluminum component does not have a thick film made of an oxide film or hydroxide on the surface to which the resin composition is adhered. In order to remove such a thick film, the surface layer may be polished by mechanical polishing such as sandblasting, shot blasting, grinding, barrel machining, or chemical polishing before the treatment with an etching agent.
Etching agent]
In the present embodiment, an alkaline etching agent is used as at least one of the etching agents for roughening the aluminum parts. This etching agent does not need to be blended with highly toxic components such as hydrazine, so that handling property is good and the waste liquid treatment is easy. It is considered that the unevenness suitable for the enhancement of the adhesion between the aluminum and the resin composition is formed on the surface of the aluminum component by the treatment with the specific etching agent and the adhesion between the aluminum and the resin composition is improved by the anchor effect.
In addition, by treating with the above-mentioned specific etching agent, penetration of moisture and moisture from the interface between aluminum and the resin composition can be prevented. In the comparative example 6 and the comparative example 7, the plate material and the aluminum plate made of the resin composition were used to laminate each other through the grease and the adhesive agent in the following procedure to form a composite body, and the evaluation was carried out. (10 mm x 25 mm x
As shown in Fig. 15, in Reference Example 10, the time required for reaching the steady state was shorter than that in Comparative Examples 6 and 7. This is considered to be due to the fact that the thermal conductivity between the aluminum-resin composition of Reference Example 10 is higher than that of Comparative Examples 6 and 7. [ From this result, it can be understood that the heat dissipation property of the composite can be improved because the thermal conductivity between the aluminum-resin composition of the composite is high (that is, the thermal resistance is low).
Cross section observation]
The cross-section of the composite molded under the same conditions as in Reference Example 10 was observed with a scanning electron microscope (SEM) (type JSM-7000F, manufactured by Nihon Denshi Co., Ltd.). An SEM photograph at that time is shown in Fig. As shown in Fig. 16, it can be seen that a large number of thermally conductive fillers are contained in the concave portion of the concavity and convexity formed on the surface of the aluminum component. In Reference Example 10, by the increase of the contact area between the aluminum-resin composition due to the harmonization of the surface of the aluminum component and the heat conductive filler contained in the recesses of the contact interface between the aluminum and the resin composition, It is considered that the resistance can be reduced.

In Example 6, using the same aluminum-made test parts as in Example 1, under the same roughening treatment conditions and composite molding conditions as in Example 3, the test composite 3 (aluminum-polyphenylene sulfide resin Complex). The
As Comparative Example 9, the
The press-in shear strengths of Examples 3 to 5 and Comparative Example 8 and the helium partial pressures in the helium leak tests of Examples 6 and 7 and Comparative Example 9 are shown in Table 8 together with the composition of the acidic etching agent. Further, in the helium leak test, it can be estimated that the smaller the helium partial pressure when the helium gas is injected, the higher the airtightness at the adhesion interface of the composite.
As shown in Table 8, in the composite of Comparative Examples 8 and 9, part of the resin composition was peeled off from the aluminum-made parts after molding, and the press-in shear strength measurement and the helium leak test could not be performed. On the other hand, in each of the examples, the press-in shear strength was not less than a predetermined value, and the helium partial pressure in the helium leak test was not more than a predetermined value. From these results, it can be seen that according to the production method of the present invention, a composite excellent in adhesion and airtightness can be obtained. Particularly, in Examples 3 and 4, in which treatment with an acid etchant was performed after treatment with an alkaline etching agent, a high insertion shear strength three times or more higher than that in Example 5 was obtained. In Example 6, the airtightness is higher than that in Example 7. From these results, it can be seen that a composite excellent in adhesion and airtightness can be obtained by the combined use of the alkaline etching and the acid etching.
