Claims (17)
- 광 디스크(2)의 사용자 저장공간(USS)을 2개의 저장영역(80;90)으로 분할하며, 이들 저장영역의 제 1 저장영역은 특유의 어플리케이션의 기록이 허용되는 어플리케이션 허용 저장영역(VASS 80)이고, 이들 저장영역의 제 2 저장영역은 상기 어플리케이션의 기록이 허용되지 않는 어플리케이션 금지 저장영역(VFSS 90)인 분할방법으로서,상기 광 디스크의 저장공간(30)의 소정의 위치에 저장된 하나의 사용가능한 가변 파라메터를 제공하는 단계를 포함하고,상기 파라메터는 상기 어플리케이션 허용 저장영역(VASS 80)과 상기 어플리케이션 금지 저장영역(VFSS 90)사이의 경계선 어드레스(BA)를 규정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 분할방법.

- 청구항 제7항의 광 디스크에 정보를 기록하며, 상기 광 디스크는 상기 광 디스크의 사용자 저장공간(USS)의 어플리케이션 허용 저장영역(VASS 80)내에 기록된 영역(71)의 위치 및 범위를 규정하는 기록 위치정보(VRLI)를 포함하고, 상기 기록 위치정보(VRLI)는 상기 광 디스크의 상기 사용자 저장공간(USS)의 미리 결정된 영역에 저장되어 있는 기록방법으로서,광 디스크로부터 사용가능한 파라메터를 판독하는 단계;상기 사용가능한 파라메터에 근거하여 상기 어플리케이션 허용 저장영역 (VASS 80)을 결정하는 단계;상기 광 디스크의 상기 기록 위치정보(VRLI)를 참조하는 단계;어플리케이션 특유의 기록 위치정보(VRLI)에 의해 결정된 상기 기록된 영역(71)을 고려하여, 상기 어플리케이션 허용 저장영역(VASS)내에 기록되는 정보보다 큰 사이즈를 갖는 자유영역(72;82)을 선택하는 단계; 및이렇게 선택된 상기 자유영역내에 상기 정보를 기록하는 단계를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 기록방법.
- 제 14 항에 있어서,상기 어플리케이션 허용 저장영역(VASS) 외측의 어드레스에 기록이 금지되는 것을 특징으로 하는 기록방법.
- 제 14 항에 있어서,상기 자유영역(72;81)의 크기가 기록되는 정보보다 작은 사이즈를 갖는 경우에는,상기 어플리케이션 허용 저장영역(80) 외측의 상기 어플리케이션 금지 저장영역(90)이, 그 자체만으로 또는 이미 발견된 상기 자유영역(78;81)과의 조합으로, 기록될 정보보다 큰 사이즈를 갖는 저장공간을 포함하는지 여부를 결정하는 단계; 및상기 어플리케이션 허용 저장영역(80)의 크기가 증대되도록 상기 사용가능한 파라메터를 수정하는 단계를 실행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 기록방법.
- 디스크 구동장치(1)의 디스크 구동 시스템(10)과 통신할 수 있는 신호처리 시스템(120)을 구비한 장치에 있어서,상기 신호처리 시스템(120)은 청구항 제1항, 제14항, 제15항, 제16항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 방법을 실행하도록 설계된 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
