Claims (6)
- 상이한 색을 갖는 복수의 컬러 필터와, 상기 복수의 컬러 필터에 접촉하여 형성됨과 함께, 상기 복수의 컬러 필터 각각과 접촉하는 영역마다 상이한 두께가 설정되고, 추가로 호모지니어스 배향된 액정 분자를 포함하는 액정층을 구비하는 액정 셀과,상기 액정 셀의 상기 복수의 컬러 필터측에 형성됨과 함께, 상기 액정 분자의 전압 무인가시의 장축 방향과 대략 평행한 방향으로 흡수축을 향하게 한 제 1 편광자와,상기 액정 셀의 상기 액정층측에 형성됨과 함께, 상기 액정 분자의 장축 방향과 대략 직교하는 방향으로 흡수축을 향하게 한 제 2 편광자와,상기 제 1 편광자와 상기 복수의 컬러 필터 사이에 형성됨과 함께, 면내 방향의 굴절률이 대략 동일하고 또한 두께 방향의 굴절률이 면내 방향의 굴절률보다 작은 위상차 필름을 갖고,녹색 광인 파장 550㎚ 의 광에 대한 상기 위상차 필름의 두께 방향의 위상차값 Rth[550] 이,Rth[550]=(nx550-nz550)×d(단, nx550 은 파장 550㎚ 의 광에 대한 상기 위상차 필름의 면내에 있어서의 지상축 방향의 주굴절률이고, nz550 은 파장 550㎚ 의 광에 대한 상기 위상차 필름의 두께 방향에 있어서의 진상축 방향의 주굴절률이고, d 는 상기 위상차 필름의 두께이다)로 나타냄과 함께, 상기 위상차값 Rth[550] 이,20㎚≤Rth[550]≤80㎚의 범위인, 액정 패널.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 복수의 컬러 필터 각각의 두께에 대응하여 상기 액정층의 두께가 설정되는, 액정 패널.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 복수의 컬러 필터가 청색의 컬러 필터, 녹색의 컬러 필터 및 적색의 컬러 필터로 이루어짐과 함께,상기 청색의 컬러 필터에 접촉하는 영역의 상기 액정층의 두께가, 상기 녹색의 컬러 필터 및 상기 적색의 컬러 필터에 접촉하는 영역의 상기 액정층의 두께보다 작고,상기 녹색의 컬러 필터에 대응하는 영역의 상기 액정층의 두께가, 상기 적색의 컬러 필터에 대응하는 영역의 상기 액정층의 두께 이하인, 액정 패널.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,녹색 광인 파장 550㎚ 의 광에 대한 상기 액정 셀의 면내 위상차값 Re[550] 이,Re[550]=(nx550-ny550)×dG(단, nx550 은 파장 550㎚ 의 광에 대한 상기 액정층의 면내에 있어서의 지상축 방향의 주굴절률이고, ny550 은 파장 550㎚ 의 광에 대한 상기 액정층의 면내에 있어서의 진상축 방향의 주굴절률이고, dG 는 녹색의 컬러 필터에 접촉하는 영역의 상기 액정층의 두께이다)로 나타냄과 함께,청색 광인 파장 450㎚ 의 광에 대한 상기 액정 셀의 면내 위상차값 Re[450] 이,Re[450]=(nx450-ny450)×dB(단, nx450 은 파장 450㎚ 의 광에 대한 상기 액정층의 면내에 있어서의 지상축 방향의 주굴절률이고, ny450 은 파장 450㎚ 의 광에 대한 상기 액정층의 면내에 있어서의 진상축 방향의 주굴절률이고, dB 는 청색의 컬러 필터에 접촉하는 영역의 상기 액정층의 두께이다)로 나타내고,상기 면내 위상차값 Re[550] 및 상기 면내 위상차값 Re[450] 이,Re[450]<Re[550]의 관계를 만족하는, 액정 패널.
- 삭제
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 기재된 액정 패널을 포함하는, 액정 표시 장치.
