Abstract
Description
Claims (10)
- 통신 장치들 사이의 흐름 제어 방법에 있어서:흐름 제어 메시지들을 가변율로 제 1 통신 장치로부터 제 2 통신 장치로 전송하는 단계로서, 상기 흐름 제어 메시지들은 상기 제 1 통신 장치가 상기 제 2 통신 장치로부터 데이터를 더 수용할 수 있음을 나타내는, 상기 흐름 제어 메시지를 전송하는 단계를 포함하고,흐름 제어 메시지들을 전송하는 상기 가변율은 이전의 흐름 제어 메시지가 전송된 후의 상기 제 1 통신 장치의 출력 버퍼로부터 출력된 데이터의 측정치와 동적으로 적응된 문턱 레벨 사이의 비교에 기초하여 결정되며,상기 출력 버퍼가 비교적 가득 차면 상기 동적으로 적응된 문턱 레벨은 비교적 낮고, 상기 출력 버퍼가 비교적 비어 있으면 상기 동적으로 적응된 문턱 레벨은 비교적 높도록, 상기 제 1 통신 장치의 출력 버퍼에서 데이터 충전량의 점유에 따라 상기 동적으로 적응된 문턱 레벨이 확립되는, 흐름 제어 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 문턱 레벨은 상기 출력 버퍼의 저장 용량의 함수로서 결정되며, 상기 저장 용량에 비례하는, 흐름 제어 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 출력 버퍼로부터 출력된 데이터는 최종 흐름 제어 메시지가 전송된 시간으로부터 측정되는, 흐름 제어 방법.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 문턱 레벨은 출력 버퍼의 저장 용량을 인덱스로서 이용하여 룩업 테이블로부터 결정되는, 흐름 제어 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 출력 버퍼의 저장 용량은 상기 제 1 통신 장치의 미사용된 데이터량의 저장 용량의 함수로서 결정되는, 흐름 제어 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 출력 버퍼의 저장 용량은 상기 제 1 통신 장치에 저장된 데이터량의 함수로서 결정되는, 흐름 제어 방법.
