Claims (65)
- 복수의 비디오 화상을 디코딩하는 방법으로서,인코딩된 제1 비디오 화상, 인코딩된 제2 비디오 화상 및 상기 제2 비디오 화상에 대한 정수 값을 수신하는 단계 - 상기 정수 값은 순서 값의 지수 표현에 기초하고, 상기 순서 값은 비디오 화상들의 시퀀스 내의 상기 제1 비디오 화상에 대한 상기 제2 비디오 화상의 위치를 나타냄 -; 및상기 순서 값을 이용하여 상기 제2 비디오 화상을 디코딩하는 단계를 포함하는, 복수의 비디오 화상을 디코딩하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 제2 비디오 화상과 연관된 슬라이스 헤더(slice header)를 수신하는 단계를 더 포함하고, 상기 슬라이스 헤더는 상기 순서 값에 기초한, 인코딩된 값을 포함하는, 복수의 비디오 화상을 디코딩하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 순서 값을 사용하여 상기 제2 비디오 화상에 관한 움직임 벡터를 계산하는 단계를 더 포함하는 복수의 비디오 화상을 디코딩하는 방법.

- 제23항에 있어서,상기 복수의 비디오 화상을 인코딩하는 단계는 상기 복수의 순서 값을 이용하여 복수의 움직임 벡터를 계산하는 단계를 포함하는, 복수의 비디오 화상을 인코딩하는 방법.
- 복수의 비디오 화상들을 디코딩하는 방법으로서,복수의 인코딩된 비디오 화상들 및 복수의 인코딩된 값들을 포함하는 비트스트림을 수신하는 단계 - 각각의 인코딩된 값은 순서 값을 나타내고, 특정 순서 값은 2의 거듭제곱 값이며, 상기 2의 거듭제곱 값을 나타내기 위해 상기 2의 거듭제곱 값의 정수 값이 상기 비트스트림 내에 저장됨 -; 및상기 비트스트림을 디코딩하는 단계를 포함하는, 복수의 비디오 화상을 디코딩하는 방법.
- 제25항에 있어서,상기 비트스트림을 디코딩하는 단계는 상기 정수 값을 이용하여 상기 인코딩된 값들 중 하나를 디코딩함으로써 순서 값을 디코딩하는 단계를 포함하는, 복수의 비디오 화상을 디코딩하는 방법.
- 제26항에 있어서,상기 비트스트림을 디코딩하는 단계는 상기 디코딩된 순서 값을 이용하여 움직임 벡터를 계산하는 단계를 더 포함하는, 복수의 비디오 화상을 디코딩하는 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제3항, 제5항, 제7항, 제14항 내지 제18항, 제23항 내지 제27항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 단계들을 구현하는 하드웨어 모듈들을 포함하는 시스템.
