Description
Claims (11)
- 무선 근거리 통신망(Local Area Network; LAN)과 통신 결합된(communicatively coupled) 유선 네트워크 내에서 서비스 품질(Quality of Service: QoS) 레벨들을 제어하는 방법으로서 - 상기 유선 네트워크는 적어도 하나의 이동 단말기 사용자로부터 수신된 정보 프레임들을 나르기 위한 상이한 경로들을 구비함 -,네트워크에서 적어도 하나의 정보 프레임을 수신하는 단계;상기 수신된 프레임에 대한 QoS 레벨을 결정하는 단계;상기 결정된 QoS 레벨을 제공하기에 충분한 전송 능력을 갖는 네트워크를 통한 적어도 하나의 경로를 식별하는 식별자를 상기 수신된 프레임에 할당하는 단계; 및네트워크에서 상기 식별자에 의해 식별된 적어도 하나의 경로를 따라 상기 프레임을 경로 지정(route)하는 단계를 포함하는 서비스 품질 레벨 제어 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 QoS 레벨은 상기 프레임이 기원된 이동 단말기 사용자의 아이덴티티로부터 결정되는 서비스 품질 레벨 제어 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 QoS 레벨은 상기 이동 단말기 사용자로부터 수신된 QoS 레벨 요청에 따라 결정되는 서비스 품질 레벨 제어 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 정보 프레임을 수신하는 단계는 이더넷 프레임(Ethernet Frame)에서의 IP 패킷을 수신하는 단계를 포함하는 서비스 품질 레벨 제어 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서,상기 식별자를 상기 수신된 프레임에 할당하는 단계는 VLAN(Virtual Local Area Network) 번호를 상기 프레임에 할당하는 단계를 포함하는 서비스 품질 레벨 제어 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 프레임을 경로 지정하는 단계는 복수의 개별 목적지 중 하나의 목적지로 상기 프레임을 경로 지정하는 단계를 포함하는 서비스 품질 레벨 제어 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 프레임을 경로 지정하는 단계는 복수의 인터페이스 중 선택된 하나의 인터페이스를 통하여 하나의 목적지로 상기 프레임을 경로 지정하는 단계를 포함하는 서비스 품질 레벨 제어 방법.
- 수신된 정보 프레임들을 경로 지정하는 무선 근거리 통신망(LAN)으로서,적어도 하나의 이동 단말기로부터 무선 트래픽을 수신하고 또한 이러한 트래픽을 적어도 하나의 정보 프레임의 형태로 통신하기 위한 적어도 하나의 액세스 포인트;하나의 정보 프레임에 대한 서비스 품질(QoS) 레벨을 확립하고 또한 상기 프레임에 대해 확립된 QoS 레벨에 따라 적어도 하나의 네트워크 경로의 식별자를 상기 프레임에 할당하도록 상기 액세스 포인트에게 지시하기 위한 관리 게이트웨이; 및상기 할당된 식별자에 따라 선택된 목적지로 상기 적어도 하나의 네트워크 경로를 따라 상기 프레임을 경로 지정하기 위한 스위치를 포함하는 무선 근거리 통신망.
- 제8항에 있어서,상기 스위치는 VLAN 가능 이더넷 스위치를 포함하고, 상기 프레임에 할당된 식별자는 VLAN 번호를 포함하는 무선 근거리 통신망.
- 제8항에 있어서,복수의 경로 지정 게이트웨이를 더 포함하고, 이들 각각의 게이트웨이는 상기 프레임에 할당된 식별자에 따라 상기 스위치에 의해 경로 지정되는 프레임에 대한 목적지를 포함하는 무선 근거리 통신망.
- 제8항에 있어서,복수의 인터페이스를 구비하는 경로 지정 게이트웨이를 더 포함하고, 이들 각각의 인터페이스는 상기 프레임에 할당된 식별자에 따라 상기 스위치에 의해 경로 지정되는 프레임을 나르기 위해 네트워크 경로에 접속하는 무선 근거리 통신망.
