Claims (5)
- 엔진(1)의 배기 통로에 설치되고, 첨가제를 이용하여 상기 엔진(1)의 배기를 정화하는 촉매 장치(16)와,상기 촉매 장치(16)의 상류측의 상기 배기 통로에 설치되고, 하류측일수록 직경이 감소하는 직경 축소부(13a)로부터 가장 직경이 작은 교축부(13b)를 거쳐서 하류측일수록 직경이 확대되는 직경 확대부(13c)로 연속되는 벤투리 형상의 믹싱실(13)과,상기 믹싱실(13) 내에 배치되고, 상기 배기에 선회류를 발생시키는 선회류 발생 수단(18)과,상기 믹싱실(13) 내에 첨가제를 분사하는 첨가제 분사 수단(19)을 구비한 엔진의 배기 정화 장치에 있어서,상기 선회류 발생 수단(18)은 상기 믹싱실(13)의 직경 축소부(13a)의 최상류부에 근접하여 배치되고,상기 첨가제 분사 수단(19)은 상기 믹싱실(13)의 교축부(13b)보다 상류측에서 또한 상기 선회류 발생 수단(18)보다 하류측에 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 엔진의 배기 정화 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 선회류 발생 수단(18)으로부터 상기 교축부(13b)까지의 거리(Lf)는 상기 직경 축소부(13a) 내에서 상기 선회류의 선회 반경이 축소될 때의 운동 에너지의 손실을 억제 가능할 정도로 길게 설정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 엔진의 배기 정화 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 첨가제 분사 수단(19)으로부터 상기 촉매 장치(16)까지의 거리(Ln)는 상기 첨가제 분사 수단(19)으로부터 분사된 첨가제가 배기 중에 확산ㆍ안개화하기 위해 필요한 시간을 확보 가능할 정도로 길게 설정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 엔진의 배기 정화 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 첨가제 분사 수단(19)은 상기 직경 축소부(13a)의 최상류부와 최하류부의 중앙 위치보다 상류측에 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 엔진의 배기 정화 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 촉매 장치는 암모니아를 환원제로 하여 배기 중의 NOx를 선택 환원하는 선택 환원형 NOx 촉매(16)이고,상기 첨가제 분사 수단은 상기 첨가제로서 요소 수용액을 분사하는 분사 노즐(19)인 것을 특징으로 하는 엔진의 배기 정화 장치.
