Claims (9)
- 기록 장치에 있어서,(i) 레이저광의 조사에 의해 기록 정보가 기록되는 제1 기록층 및 제2 기록층을 포함하고, 또한 각각의 상기 제1 기록층 및 상기 제2 기록층이 상기 기록 장치의 오동작을 방지하기 위한 버퍼 영역 및 상기 기록 정보를 기록하는 데 사용되는 상기 레이저광의 파워를 교정하기 위한 교정 영역을 포함하는, 기록 매체와, (ii) 상기 제1 기록층 및 상기 제2 기록층을 포함하고, 또한 각각의 상기 제1 기록층 및 상기 제2 기록층이 상기 교정 영역을 포함하는 기록 매체 중, 적어도 하나의 기록 매체에, 상기 기록 정보를 기록하는 기록 디바이스;상기 교정 영역의 기록 단위마다에, 상기 버퍼 영역을 확장 또는 생성하기 위한 소정 크기의 예약 영역을 설정하는 설정 디바이스;상기 설정된 예약 영역을 제외한 상기 교정 영역을 사용하여 상기 파워를 교정하는 교정 디바이스; 및상기 기록 정보를 적어도 상기 예약 영역에 기록하도록 상기 기록 디바이스를 제어하는 제어 디바이스를 포함하는 기록 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 제어 디바이스는, 상기 버퍼 영역으로서 기능한다는 것을 나타내는 버 퍼 영역 속성이 부가된 상기 기록 정보를, 적어도 상기 예약 영역에 기록하도록, 상기 기록 디바이스를 제어하는, 기록 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 소정 크기는 상기 기록 매체에 부여된 어드레스를 취득할 수 있는 최소 단위인, 기록 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 교정 영역의 기록 단위는 ECC 블록이며, 상기 소정 크기는 적어도 1섹터인, 기록 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 설정 디바이스는 상기 교정 영역의 기록 단위의 개시 단부(start edge portion)를 기점으로 하여 상기 소정 크기의 예약 영역을 설정하는, 기록 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 제어 디바이스는 상기 기록 정보를 상기 교정 영역 전체에 기록하도록 상기 기록 디바이스를 제어하는, 기록 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 버퍼 영역은 리드인 영역, 리드아웃 영역 및 중간 영역 중 적어도 하나인, 기록 장치.
- 기록 방법에 있어서,(i) 레이저광의 조사에 의해 기록 정보가 기록되는 제1 기록층 및 제2 기록층을 포함하고, 또한 각각의 상기 제1 기록층 및 상기 제2 기록층이, 기록 장치의 오동작을 방지하기 위한 버퍼 영역 및 상기 기록 정보를 기록하는 데 사용되는 상기 레이저광의 파워를 교정하기 위한 교정 영역을 포함하는 기록 매체와, (ii) 상기 제1 기록층 및 상기 제2 기록층을 포함하고, 또한 각각의 상기 제1 기록층 및 상기 제2 기록층이 상기 교정 영역을 포함하는 기록 매체 중, 적어도 하나의 기록 매체에, 상기 기록 정보를 기록하는 제1 기록 공정;상기 교정 영역의 기록 단위마다에, 상기 버퍼 영역을 확장 또는 생성하는데 사용되는 소정 크기의 예약 영역을 설정하는 설정 공정;상기 설정된 예약 영역을 제외한 상기 교정 영역을 사용하여 상기 파워를 교정하는 교정 공정; 및상기 기록 정보를 적어도 상기 예약 영역에 기록하는 제2 기록 공정을 포함하는 기록 방법.
