Abstract
Description
Claims (16)
- 수직 입사광에 대하여 파장 λ1∼λ2(λ1<λ2)으로 선택반사 파장대역을 나타내는 콜레스테릭 액정층으로 이루어지고, 조합되어 사용되는 광원의 발광 스펙트럼의 극대파장(λ0)에 대하여 λ0 < λ1을 만족하는 것을 특징으로 하는 콜리메이터.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 콜레스테릭 액정층을 2개 적층하여 이루어지고, 각 콜레스테릭 액정층의 나선피치, 평균 굴절율 및 복굴절율이 각각 실질적으로 동일하고, 또한 나선의 회전방향이 서로 다른 것을 특징으로 하는 콜리메이터.
- 제 1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서, 상기 콜레스테릭 액정층의 두께가 O.5㎛ 이상 50㎛ 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 콜리메이터.
- 제 1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서, 상기 콜레스테릭 액정층이 액정성 재료를 고정화하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 콜리메이터.
- 수직 입사광에 대하여 파장 λ1∼λ2(λ1 < λ2)으로 선택반사 파장대역을 나타내는 유전체 다층막으로 이루어지고, 조합되어 사용되는 광원의 발광 스펙트럼의 극대파장(λ0)에 대하여 λ0 < λ1을 만족하는 것을 특징으로 하는 콜리메이터.
- 제 5항에 있어서, 상기 유전체 다층막이, 광학막 두께가 모두 (λ1 + λ2)/2 (단, λ1, λ2는 최대반사율의 50%의 반사율에 있어서의 파장을 의미)를 λM으로 했을 때, λM/4인 고굴절율의 막과 저굴절율의 막을 교대로 증착한 λ/4 교대 다층막인 것을 특징으로 하는 콜리메이터.
- 제 1항, 제 2항, 제 5항 또는 제 6항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, (λ2 - λ1) ≥ 50nm인 것을 특징으로 하는 콜리메이터.
- 제 1항, 제 2항, 제 5항 또는 제 6항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, (λ1 - λ0) ≤ 20nm인 것을 특징으로 하는 콜리메이터.
- 제 1항, 제 2항, 제 5항 또는 제 6항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, (λ1 - λ0) ≤ 10nm인 것을 특징으로 하는 콜리메이터.
- 제 1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서, 수직 입사광에 대하여 파장 λ11∼λ12(λ11<λ12)으로 선택반사 파장대역을 나타내는 제 1의 콜레스테릭 액정층과,수직 입사광에 대하여 파장 λ21∼λ22(λ21<λ22)으로 선택반사 파장대역을 나타내는 제 2의 콜레스테릭 액정층과,수직 입사광에 대하여 파장 λ31∼λ32(λ31<λ32)으로 선택반사 파장대역을 나타내는 제 3의 콜레스테릭 액정층을 적층하여 이루어지고,파장(λB, λG 및 λR)으로 극대발광을 보유하는 백라이트와 조합되어 사용되고, 또한 하기 관계식을 만족하는 것을 특징으로 하는 콜리메이터.420 nm ≤λB ≤ 480 nm520 nm ≤λG ≤ 580 nm585 nm ≤λR ≤ 685 nmλB<λl1<λ12<λG<λ21<λ22<λR<λ31<λ32<1000nm
- 제 5항 또는 제 6항에 있어서, 수직 입사광에 대하여 파장 λ11∼λ12(λ11<λ12)으로 선택반사 파장대역을 나타내는 제 1의 유전체 다층막과,수직 입사광에 대하여 파장 λ21∼λ22(λ21<λ22)으로 선택반사 파장대역을 나타내는 제 2의 유전체 다층막과,수직 입사광에 대하여 파장 λ31∼λ32(λ31<λ32)으로 선택반사 파장대역을 나타내는 제 3의 유전체 다층막을 적층하여 이루어지고,파장(λB, λG 및 λR)으로 극대발광을 보유하는 광원과 조합되어 사용되고, 또한 하기 관계식을 만족하는 것을 특징으로 하는 콜리메이터.420 nm ≤λB ≤ 480 nm520 nm ≤λG ≤ 580 nm585 nm ≤λR ≤ 685 nmλB<λl1<λ12<λG<λ21<λ22<λR<λ31<λ32<1000nm
- 제 11항에 있어서, 상기 제 1유전체 다층막이, 광학막 두께가 모두 (λ11+λ12)/2 (단, λ11, λ12는 최대 반사율의 50%의 반사율에 있어서의 파장을 의미함)를 λM1로 했을 때 λM1/4인 고굴절율의 막과 저굴절율의 막을 교대로 증착한 λ/4 교대 다층막이고,상기 제 2유전체 다층막이, 광학막 두께가 모두 (λ21+λ22)/2 (단, λ21, λ22는 최대 반사율의 50%의 반사율에 있어서의 파장을 의미함)를 λM2로 했을 때 λM2 /4인 고굴절율의 막과 저굴절율의 막을 교대로 증착한 λ/4 교대 다층막이며,상기 제 3유전체 다층막이, 광학막 두께가 모두 (λ31+λ32)/2 (단, λ31, λ32는 최대 반사율의 50%의 반사율에 있어서의 파장을 의미함)를 λM3으로 했을 때, λM3/4인 고굴절율의 막과 저굴절율의 막을 교대로 증착한 λ/4 교대 다층막인 것을 특징으로 하는 콜리메이터.
- 광 반사층과, 파장(λ0)으로 발광극대를 보유하는 발광 스펙트럼을 나타내는 광원과, 광 확산층과, 그리고 제 1항, 제 2항, 제 5항 또는 제 6항 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 콜리메이터를 구비한 백 라이트시스템.
- 제 13항에 있어서, 상기 광원의 발광 스펙트럼의 반값 폭이 20nm 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 백 라이트시스템.
- 제 13항에 있어서, 상기 광원의 발광스펙트럼의 반값 폭이 15nm 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 백 라이트시스템.
- 제 13항에 있어서, 상기 광원이 3파장형 냉음극관인 것을 특징으로 하는 백 라이트시스템.
