Claims (9)
- 배기 통로에 배치되는 제 1 배기 가스 정화 촉매;상기 제 1 배기 가스 정화 촉매의 하류에 배치되는 제 2 배기 가스 정화 촉매;상기 제 1 배기 가스 정화 촉매의 상류에 배치되고, 배기 가스의 공연비를 취득하는 제 1 공연비 취득 수단;상기 제 2 배기 가스 정화 촉매로 유입되는 배기 가스의 공연비를 취득하는 제 2 공연비 취득 수단; 및상기 제 1 공연비 취득 수단에 의해 취득한 공연비와 상기 제 2 공연비 취득 수단에 의해 취득한 공연비에 따라 내연 기관의 공연비를 제어하는 공연비 제어 수단을 구비하고,상기 공연비 제어 수단은, 상기 내연 기관의 연료 증량 운전의 종료 후에 상기 제 2 배기 가스 정화 촉매가 린 (lean) 상태가 될 때까지 상기 내연 기관의 공연비를 제어하는 린 제어 수단; 및 상기 연료 증량 운전과 상기 린 제어 수단에 의한 공연비 제어 사이에서, 상기 제 1 배기 가스 정화 촉매가 린 상태가 되기에 충분하고, 상기 제 2 배기 가스 정화 촉매가 린 상태가 되기에는 불충분한 범위에서 상기 내연 기관의 공연비를 린으로 변화시키는 제어를 1회 이상 실행하는 중간 린 제어 수단을 구비하고, 상기 내연 기관의 아이들 (idle) 운전 동안 상기 린 제어 수단에 의한 공연비 제어를 실행하며,상기 공연비 제어 수단은 상기 내연 기관의 부분 부하 영역에서 거의 정상 운전하고 있는 동안 상기 중간 린 제어 수단에 의해 공연비 제어를 실행하는, 내연 기관의 공연비 제어 장치.

- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 중간 린 제어 수단은 상기 내연 기관의 공연비가 상기 린 제어 수단보다 작은 양만큼 린 공연비로 변하게 하는, 내연 기관의 공연비 제어 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 공연비 제어 수단은 상기 제 1 배기 가스 정화 촉매의 온도 또는 상기 제 2 배기 가스 정화 촉매의 온도가 촉매의 열화를 촉진시키는 소정 온도보다 높다고 판단한 경우에, 상기 린 제어 수단 및 상기 중간 린 제어 수단에 의해 임의의 공연비 제어를 실행하지 않는, 내연 기관의 공연비 제어 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 공연비 제어 수단은 상기 린 제어 수단에 의한 공연비 제어 후, 상기 제 1 배기 가스 정화 촉매와 상기 제 2 배기 가스 정화 촉매가 둘 다 리치 (rich) 상태가 되기에는 불충분한 범위에서 상기 내연 기관의 공연비를 리치 공연비로 변하게 하는 제어를 실행하는 리치 제어 수단을 구비하는, 내연 기관의 공연비 제어 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 내연 기관의 공연비에 관한 피드백 학습을 제어하는 학습 제어 수단; 및상기 제 2 공연비 취득 수단에 의해 취득한 공연비에 근거해서 상기 내연 기관의 공연비가 목표 공연비가 되도록 상기 내연 기관에 공급되는 연료량을 피드백 보정하는 보정 수단을 구비하고,상기 공연비 제어 수단은 상기 린 제어 수단과 상기 중간 린 제어 수단에 의한 공연비 제어 동안 상기 학습 제어 수단과 상기 보정 수단과의 동작을 금지시키는, 내연 기관의 공연비 제어 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 내연 기관의 공연비가 린이고 상기 제 2 공연비 취득 수단에 의해 취득한 공연비가 린이라고 판단한 경우와, 상기 내연 기관의 공연비가 리치이고 상기 제 2 공연비 취득 수단에 의해 취득한 공연비가 리치라고 판단한 경우 둘 다 상기 내연 기관의 공연비에 근거해서 산출되는 배기 가스 중의 산소 과부족량을 적분함으로써 상기 제 2 배기 가스 정화 촉매에 흡장되어 있는 산소량을 취득하는 산소량 취득 수단을 구비하고,상기 공연비 제어 수단은 상기 산소량 취득 수단에 의해 취득한 산소량에 근거해서 상기 제 2 배기 가스 정화 촉매가 린 상태인지 아닌지를 판단하는, 내연 기관의 공연비 제어 장치.
- 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 산소량 취득 수단은 상기 제 2 배기 가스 정화 촉매의 열화 상태 및 상기 제 2 배기 가스 정화 촉매의 온도에 따라 상기 제 2 배기 가스 정화 촉매의 최대 산소 흡장량을 변화시키는, 내연 기관의 공연비 제어 장치.
