Abstract

오토바이용 스포츠웨어에서, 사용시 오토바이와 접촉되는 신체부분에서 그 외측면에 미끄럼 방지재로 된 영역(40,42,44,46,48)이 제공되는 것을 특징으로 한다.

Description

미끄럼 방지 표면부를 갖는 스포츠웨어{SPORTS DRESS HAVING SLIP-RESISTANT SURFACE ZONES}
본 발명은 스포츠웨어에 관련되는데, 특히 오토바이용 옷에 관련된다.
최근 오토바이 운전자를 위한 스포츠웨어는 주로 외부 환경(비, 바람, 추위 등)으로부터 운전자를 보호하고 고속으로 달렸을 때 발생될 수 있는 사고에 대비하기 위한 일반적인 목적에 주로 초점이 맞춰져 있다. 이것은 현재 시중에서 판매되고 있는 것뿐만 아니라 WO-A-90 03126, WO-A-99 00030에 공지된 종류까지 포함된다.
그런데 지금까지 간과한 부분이 있다면 고속으로 달릴 때 운전자가 유선형이라고 하는 형태의 운전자세를 취할 때 오토바이에 접촉되는 부분에 대한 중요성이다. 운전자의 몸이 오토바이에 가깝지만 접촉하지 않은 영역에서 공기의 유동으로 인해 발생될 수 있는 소용돌이는 항력에 불균형을 일으켜 운전자의 안전에 영향을 줄 수 있다.
연료탱크 같이 오토바이의 영역에 운전자가 사포를 대어서 유선형으로 몸을 굽히거나 커브를 돌 때 몸을 굽힐 때 상기 영역과 접촉하는 부분이 미끄러지지 않게 하려는 것에서 본 발명의 새로운 기술을 착안하였다.
그러므로 본 발명의 주요 목적은 전술된 목적에 부합하고, 가격이나 제조측면에서 합당한 오토바이 운전자용 옷을 제공하는데 있다. 본 발명은 도면을 통해 자세히 도시되는데 선호되는 실시예에 제한되지는 않는다.

도면에 도시된 옷은 자켓(10)과 바지(12)로 구성되어 있으며, 신축성 있는 띠로 된 밴드(14)로 서로 붙어있을 수 있다. 옷을 입기 위해서는 칼라(18)에서 부터 바지의 두 다리(20)가 연결되는 곳까지 연장된 중앙 개구부(16), 손목에 근접한 자켓(10)의 소매(22)를 따라 있는 개구부(20)(도 1), 다리(26)의 자유단부쪽의 개구부(24)(도 2)가 옷에 제공되었다. 상기 모든 개구부(16,20,24)는 지퍼 같은 것으로 닫히도록 되어 있다.
종래의 방식에서 옷은 공기 및 물에 대한 불침투성인 외부층(천연 혹은 합성소재), 패딩층 및 내부 라이닝으로 구성된 복합구조를 갖는다.
또한 다음과 같은 옷의 특정 영역은 내마모성 재료로 덮힌다.
- 겨드랑이 및 팔꿈치 사이소매(22)의 전방측에 있는 영역(28),
- 다리(26)의 상측 및 바지(12)의 사타구니 부위 사이의 영역(30),
- 무릎패드(36) 위에 있는 영역(34)(도 1),
- 종아리에서 무릎까지의 영역(32)(도 2).
본 발명을 따라 미끄럼 방지 재료로 덮힌 영역이 있으며, 착용시 오토바이의 몸체와 접촉하는 부분은 다음과 같다.
- 복부에서 아래쪽 갈비뼈까지 연장되고, 중앙 개구부(16)의 좌우측에 있는 영역(40,42),
- 착용자의 팔뚝 부분에 해당하는 소매(22)를 따라 상기 개구부(20) 위쪽에 있는 영역(44),
- 무릎패드(36) 위까지 내마모성 영역(30)으로부터 시작해서 다리의 내측을 따라 있는 영역(46),
- 종아리에 해당하는 다리(26)의 내측을 따른 영역(48).
전술된 영역(40,42,44,46,48)에 제공하기 위한 미끄럼 방지재료로써 니트릴 고무 같은 미끄럼방지 탄성체 같은 것으로 될 수 있는데, 경석(pumice) 같은 연마제가 혼합될 수 있으며, 재봉, 봉합, 초음파 용접, 접착이나 종래의 방법으로 외부 표면의 원하는 부분에 부착된다. Velcro사에서 판매되고 있는 소위 탈착(loop-and-hook) 재료는 거친패턴 혹은 텍스쳐를 나타내는 고무 스트립으로 만들어질 수 있다.
오토바이의 연료탱크나 프레임 같은 영역도 옷의 영역(40,42,44,46,48)에 사용된 것과 호환되는 재료나 그와 비슷한 재료로 입혀질 수 있다.
전술된 설명이 자켓이나 바지 같은 단순한 외복에만 설명되었지만 여러 가지 의복에도 적용된다.
본 발명의 범위 내에서 상기와 다른 실시예가 구현될 수 있다.

Claims (11)

  1. 오토바이용 스포츠웨어에 있어서, 사용시 오토바이와 접촉되는 신체부분에서 그 외측면에 미끄럼 방지재로 된 영역(40,42,44,46,48)이 제공되는 것을 특징으로 하는 오토바이용 스포츠웨어.
  2. 전면 중앙 개구부(16)를 갖는 오토바이용 자켓에 있어서, 복부 및 갈비뼈 아래쪽에서 중앙 개구부(16)의 좌우측에 각각 미끄럼 방지재료로 된 영역들(40,42)이 제공되는 것을 특징으로 하는 오토바이용 자켓.
  3. 제 2 항에 있어서, 손목에 가까운 소매의 개구부(20) 위의 팔뚝부분에 미끄럼 방지재료로 된 영역(44)이 제공되는 것을 특징으로 하는 오토바이용 자켓.
  4. 오토바이용 바지에 있어서, 사타구니를 보호하기 위해 제공된 바지의 영역(30)에서부터 시작하여 다리의 안쪽을 따라 미끄럼 방지재료로 된 영역(46)이 제공되며, 착용자의 무릎을 보호하도록 제공된 영역(36) 이상 아래로 연장되는 것을 특징으로 하는 오토바이용 바지.
  5. 제 4 항에 있어서, 종아리에 상응하는 착용자의 다리 안쪽에 미끄럼 방지재료로 된 영역(48)이 제공되는 것을 특징으로 하는 오토바이용 바지.
  6. 제 1항에 있어서, 미끄럼 방지재료로 된 영역(40,42,44,46,48)들이 여러 가지 크기 및 형태로 된 탄성재료 스트립 형태로 제공되며, 상기 스트립은 초음파 용접, 재봉, 접착 혹은 다른 방법으로 부착되는 것을 특징으로 하는 오토바이용 스포츠 웨어.
  7. 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 미끄럼 방지재료로 된 영역(40,42,44,46,48)들이 니트릴 고무 같은 탄성재료로 만들어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 오토바이용 스포츠 웨어.
  8. 제 7 항에 있어서, 상기 탄성재료의 혼합물에 경석(pumice) 같은 연마제가 포함되는 것을 특징으로 하는 오토바이용 스포츠웨어.
  9. 제 7 항에 있어서, 상기 탄성재료 표면 위에 거친패턴이 인쇄된 것을 특징으로 하는 오토바이용 스포츠웨어.
  10. 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 미끄럼 방지재료로 된 영역(40,42,44,46,48)이 Velcro로 알려진 탈착(loop-and-hook) 재료로 만들어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 오토바이용 스포츠 웨어.
  11. 제 1항에 있어서, 미끄럼 방지재료로 된 영역(40,42,44,46,48)외의 다른 부분들의 외부표면 영역(28,30,32,34)이 내마모성 재료로 되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 오토바이용 스포츠 웨어.
