Claims (12)

- 제1항에 있어서,상기 시각 오프셋은 상기 SPS 수신기의 클럭을 컬리브레이션하는데(calibrate) 이용되는 SPS 수신기의 시각 결정 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 SPS 메시지는 SPS 위성으로부터이고, 상기 결정 단계는 상기 SPS 위성과 상기 SPS 수신기간의 신호 전파 시각을 보상하도록 상기 시각 오프셋을 정정하는(correcting) 단계를 더 포함하는 SPS 수신기의 시각 결정 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서,상기 정정 단계는 위성 클럭 오프셋 시각을 보상하도록 상기 정정된 시각 오프셋을 변형하는(modifying) 단계를 더 포함하는 SPS 수신기의 시각 결정 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 예상 데이터 패턴은 SPS 메시지 프리앰블(preamble)인 SPS 수신기의 시각 결정 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 예상 데이터 패턴은 핸드-오버(hand-over) 워드인 SPS 수신기의 시각 결정 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 예상 데이터 패턴은 서브프레임 ID인 SPS 수신기의 시각 결정 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 예상 데이터 패턴은 SPS 메시지 프리앰블, 핸드오버 워드, 및 서브프레임 ID로 구성되는 그룹, 및 그들의 조합으로부터 선택되는 SPS 수신기의 시각 결정 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 소정 기간은 대략 1초인 SPS 수신기의 시각 결정 방법.

- SPS 수신기에서 시각을 결정하기 위한 장치에 있어서,복수의 SPS 신호를 중간 주파수로 다운 컨버팅하기 위한 다운 컨버터;상기 다운 컨버터에 결합되고, 상기 다운 컨버팅된 복수의 SPS 신호를 디지털 데이터로 변환하기 위한 아날로그-디지털 컨버터;상기 아날로그-디지털 컨버터 및 클럭에 결합되고, 소정 샘플 기간 동안 주기적으로 닫히도록, 상기 클럭에 의해 제어되는 디지털 중간 주파수(IF) 스위치;상기 디지털 IF 스위치에 결합되고, 상기 디지털 IF 스위치가 닫히는 때에 가용한 복수의 디지털 IF 데이터를 저장하기 위한 IF 메모리;상기 IF 메모리에 결합되고, 코드 위상 특성을 결정하며 도플러 특성을 결정하고 상기 복수의 디지털 IF 데이터내의 복수의 SPS 신호에 대한 신호 세기 특성을 결정하며 상기 결정된 코드 위상 특성, 결정된 도플러 특성 및 결정된 신호 세기 특성에 기초하여 SPS 위성 신호를 선택하기 위한 비코히어런트 SPS 상관기;상기 IF 메모리 및 상기 비코히어런트 SPS 상관기에 결합되고, 동위상 및 직교위상 코히어런트 측정을 생성하기 위한 코히어런트 SPS 상관기;상기 코히어런트 SPS 상관기에 결합되고, 복수의 동위상 및 직교위상 코히어런트 측정 샘플을 생성하기 위해 주기적으로 닫히는 메모리 저장 스위치;상기 메모리 저장 스위치에 결합되고, 상기 복수의 동위상 및 직교위상 코히어런트 측정 샘플을 저장하기 위한 샘플 메모리;상기 샘플 메모리 및 소정 예상 데이터 패턴 저장 장치에 결합되고, 상기 복수의 동위상 및 직교 위상 코히어런트 측정 샘플을 상기 소정 예상 데이터 패턴 저장 장치의 소정 예상 데이터 패턴과 코히어런트하게 상관하여 상관 출력을 생성하는 상관기;상기 상관기에 결합되고, 상기 상관 출력을 적분하여 적분 출력을 생성하기 위한 코히어런트 적분기;상기 코히어런트 적분기에 결합되고, 상기 적분 출력의 크기를 검출하며 복수의 적분 크기를 생성하기 위한 크기 결정기;상기 크기 결정기에 결합되고, 상기 복수의 적분 크기를 저장하기 위한 크기 대 지연 메모리; 및상기 크기 대 지연 메모리에 결합되고, 최대 적분 크기와, 복수의 디지털 IF 데이터를 저장하는 개시 시각으로부터 상기 최대 적분 크기까지의 지연 기간을 나타내는 시각 오프셋을 결정할 수 있는 최대 적분 크기 결정기를 포함하는 SPS 수신기의 시각 결정 장치.
- 제11항에 있어서,캡쳐 시각은 상기 시각 오프셋, 상기 선택된 SPS 위성 신호의 코드 위상, 상기 선택된 SPS 위성 신호에 대응하는 위성의 위치 및 상기 장치의 위치로부터 결정되는 SPS 수신기의 시각 결정 장치.
