Claims (5)
- 프린지 필드 스위칭 액정표시장치의 제조방법에 있어서,투명성 절연기판 상에 게이트을 형성하고 이와 병행하여 공통라인을 형성하는 제 1마스크 단계;상기 게이트와 공통라인이 형성된 투명성 절연기판 상에 게이트 절연막을 혀성하고 나서, 액티브층을 패터닝하는 제 2마스크 단계;상기 액티브층 상에 소오스/드레인 전극 및 데이터 라인 및 1차 화소전극을 형성하는 제 3마스크 단계;상기 소오스/드레인 전극 및 1차 화소전극을 포함하여 투명성 절연기판 전면상에 보호막을 형성하고 이를 패터닝하여 상기 공통라인을 노출시키는 비아홀을 형성하는 제 4마스크 단계; 및상기 비아홀을 포함한 보호막 상에 상기 공통라인과 콘택되는 2차 화소전극을 형성하는 제 5마스크 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 프린지 필드 스위칭 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 1차 화소전극은 소오스/드레인 전극용 금속을 사용하여 형성하며, 상기 2차 화소전극은 ITO 또는 IZO로 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 프린지 필드 스위칭 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 게이트는 몰리브덴-텅스텐 합금 또는 알루미늄계열 금속을 사용하며, 몰리브덴을 버퍼금속으로 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 프린지 필드 스위칭 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 게이트 절연막은 SiNx 또는 SiON의 단일막으로 형성하거나, 또는 SiNx 및 SiON의 이중막으로 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 프린지 필드 스위칭 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 소오스/드레인 전극은 몰리브덴으로 형성하거나, 몰리브덴/알루미늄/몰리브덴으로 형성하거나, 또는 크롬으로 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 프린지 필드 스위칭 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
