Claims (2)
- 배기계통에 설치되어 있는 촉매컨버터(10)의 전방과 후방에 각각 산소센서(12,14)를 설치하고, 상기 산소센서(12,14)의 출력단에는 선형필터(16,18)와 하이패스필터(20,22), 절대치 변환기(24,26) 및 로우패스필터(28,30)를 차례로 매개하여 제산기(32)를 연결하며, 상기 제산기(32)의 출력단에는 엔진콘트롤유니트(34)의 데이터입력단을 연결하는 한편, 그 출력단에 경고등(36)을 연결하여 이루어지는 장치에 있어서, 상기 엔진콘트롤유니트(34)는, 촉매컨버터(10)의 후방 대비 전방의 산소농도 검출신호에 대한 진폭비율을 산출하여 상기 진폭비율에서 측정당시의 자동차의 조건에 따라 설정해 놓은 진폭비율 임계치를 감안하여 그 값이 (+)이면 해당 임계치 매트릭스 영역에 그 값을 표시하고 계수값을 1만큼 증가시키고, 상기 계수값이 9이상이면 오류판정을 한 후 고장코드를 저장하고, 상기 오류판정이 연속 2회인 경우에 경고등을 점등시키도록 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 자동차 촉매컨버터의 정화성능 검출장치.
- 촉매컨버터(10)의 전후방에 설치되는 산소센서(12,14)의 출력신호를 이용하여 촉매컨버터(10) 후방 대비 전방의 산소농도 검출신호에 대한 진폭비율을 산출하는 단계와, 상기 진폭비율에서 측정당시의 자동차의 조건에 따라 설정해 놓은 진폭비율 임계치를 감안하여 그 값이 (+)이면 해당 임계치 매트릭스 영역에 그 값을 표시하고 계수값을 1만큼 증가시키는 단계와, 상기 계수값이 9이상이면 오류판정을 하는 단계와, 상기 오류판정시 고장코드를 저장하는 단계와, 상기 오류판정이 연속 2회인 경우에 경고등을 점등시키는 단계를 포함하여 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 촉매컨버터의 정화성능 검출방법.
