Claims (8)
- 非鉄金属の溶湯保持炉又は溶解炉に用いられるSiC浸漬ヒータにおいて、直筒状の絶縁性セラミックス保護管の中に単数又は複数本の竪型SiCヒータを配し、かつ、保護管内に窒素を充満した浸漬ヒータであって、該保護管内部に外気と連通した通気管を設け、かつ、該通気管をTi又はNb又はSi金属からなる脱酸素層に接続することにより、外気を脱酸素した窒素が該保護管内部の窒素を補うように補給されることを特徴とする非鉄金属溶湯加熱用SiC浸漬ヒータ。
- 前記SiCヒータが二重螺旋形状の発熱体を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の非鉄金属溶湯加熱用SiC浸漬ヒータ。
- 前記SiCヒータの発熱体の使用発熱温度の上限が1300℃であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の非鉄金属溶湯加熱用SiC浸漬ヒータ。
- 前記Ti又はNb又はSi脱酸素層が、粒状、粉状、繊維状のいずれか、又はそれらの混合物であるTi又はNb又はSi金属を充填して構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2又は3に記載の非鉄金属溶湯加熱用SiC浸漬ヒータ。
- 前記Ti又はNb又はSi脱酸素層が、前記保護管の先の半球部内で、かつ、SiCヒータの発熱体の先端を支持すると共に隅部に複数の通気孔を設けた隔壁で仕切られた部屋内に設けられることを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の非鉄金属溶湯加熱用SiC浸漬ヒータ。
- 前記Ti脱酸素層の使用温度が800〜1300℃の温度範囲であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の非鉄金属溶湯加熱用SiC浸漬ヒータ。
- 前記Nb脱酸素層の使用温度が200〜1000℃の温度範囲であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の非鉄金属溶湯加熱用SiC浸漬ヒータ。
- 前記Si脱酸素層の使用温度が800〜1300℃の温度範囲であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の非鉄金属溶湯加熱用SiC浸漬ヒータ。
