Abstract
Description
アルミニウム源、リン源、SDA(構造規定剤)として、それぞれアルミニウムイソプロポキシド、85%リン酸、水酸化1,4−ジアザビシクロ[2.2.2]オクタン−C4−ジクアットを純水に溶解させ、組成が1Al2O3:1P2O5:0.8SDA:200H2Oの原料溶液を作製した。この原料溶液を190℃にて50時間水熱合成した。水熱合成によって得られた結晶を回収し、純水にて十分に洗浄した後、100℃で完全に乾燥させた。X線回折測定の結果、得られた結晶はSAT型ゼオライトの結晶であった。この結晶を10〜20mass%となるよう純水に投入し、ボールミルによって7日間粉砕し、種結晶とした。
モノリス形状の多孔質アルミナ支持体を、上記種結晶を分散させた溶液に接触させて、支持体の貫通孔であるセル内に種結晶を塗布した。その後、アルミニウム源、リン源、SDAとして、それぞれアルミニウムイソプロポキシド、85%リン酸、水酸化1,4−ジアザビシクロ[2.2.2]オクタン−C4−ジクアットを純水に溶解させ、組成が1Al2O3:2P2O5:2.3SDA:1000H2Oの原料溶液を作製した。ゼオライト膜用の原料溶液では、アルミニウム源とリン源とをpHが4以上の状態で混合し、アルミニウムが原料溶液中に均一に分布するようにした。原料溶液のpHは7であった。
次に、図3に概略構造を示す装置にて混合ガスの分離試験を実施した。図3において、支持体11が有する貫通孔111の内面にゼオライト膜12が形成されている。支持体11の両端部はガラス21にて封止され、支持体11は外筒22内に収められる。この状態で混合ガスが矢印251にて示すように支持体11の貫通孔111内に導入され、外筒22に設けられた孔221からゼオライト膜12を透過したガスが矢印252にて示すように回収される。
上記ゼオライト膜複合体およびその製造では様々な変形が可能である。

Claims (7)
- ゼオライト膜複合体であって、
支持体と、
前記支持体上に形成されたゼオライト膜と、
を備え、
前記ゼオライト膜が、SAT型のゼオライトであり、
前記ゼオライト膜にX線を照射して得られるX線回折パターンにおいて、2θ=13.9°付近に存在するピークの強度が、2θ=8.5°付近に存在するピークの強度の1.5倍以上である。 - 請求項1に記載のゼオライト膜複合体であって、
前記X線回折パターンにおいて、2θ=13.9°付近に存在するピークの強度が、2θ=8.5°付近に存在するピークの強度の2倍以上である。 - 請求項1または2に記載のゼオライト膜複合体であって、
前記支持体が、多孔質である。 - 請求項1ないし3のいずれか1つに記載のゼオライト膜複合体であって、
前記支持体が、アルミナ焼結体またはムライト焼結体である。 - ゼオライト膜複合体の製造方法であって、
a)水熱合成にてSAT型のゼオライトを生成し、前記ゼオライトから種結晶を取得する工程と、
b)支持体上に前記種結晶を付着させる工程と、
c)アルミニウム源とリン源とをpHが4以上の状態で混合して調整したpHが5以上9以下の原料溶液に前記支持体を浸漬し、水熱合成により前記種結晶からSAT型のゼオライト成長させて前記支持体上にゼオライト膜を形成する工程と、
d)前記ゼオライト膜から構造規定剤を除去する工程と、
を備える。 - 請求項5に記載のゼオライト膜複合体の製造方法であって、
前記ゼオライト膜にX線を照射して得られるX線回折パターンにおいて、2θ=13.9°付近に存在するピークの強度が、2θ=8.5°付近に存在するピークの強度の1.5倍以上である。 - 請求項5または6に記載のゼオライト膜複合体の製造方法であって、
前記a)またはc)工程において、水熱合成におけるアルミニウム源として、アルミニウムアルコキシドまたはアルミナゾルが用いられる。
