Abstract
Description
前記固定部は、前記光ファイバの先端を同軸上に挿入可能に固定する固定用穴部を有し、
前記実装基板は、前記光ファイバの外径より細く形成され、前記固定用穴部を同軸上に連通して前記実装部側に貫通する貫通孔と、が一体形成され、前記発光素子の光軸を前記固定用穴部と前記貫通孔と同軸にして前記実装部に前記発光素子を実装するものである。
また、本発明の他態様による光信号送信モジュールは、電気信号を光信号に変換して、当該光信号の光を出射する複数の発光素子と、前記発光素子からの出射光を集光するための集光部が端部に一体形成され、前記集光部を介して入射された前記光信号を伝送する光ファイバと、前記複数の発光素子を実装するための実装部、及び、当該実装部に実装された前記発光素子からの前記出射光を前記集光部に入射させる位置に前記光ファイバを固定するための固定部が一体形成された異型基板からなる実装基板と、を備える光信号送信モジュールであって、前記固定部は、前記光ファイバの先端を同軸上に挿入可能に固定する固定用穴部を有し、前記実装基板は、前記固定用穴部の底部に前記実装部を設定し該実装部に前記発光素子を実装するものである。
また、本発明の他態様による光信号送信モジュールは、電気信号を光信号に変換して、当該光信号の光を出射する複数の発光素子と、前記発光素子からの出射光を集光するための集光部が端部に一体形成され、前記集光部を介して入射された前記光信号を伝送する光ファイバと、前記複数の発光素子を実装するための実装部、及び、当該実装部に実装された前記発光素子からの前記出射光を前記集光部に入射させる位置に前記光ファイバを固定するための固定部が一体形成された異型基板からなる実装基板と、を備える光信号送信モジュールであって、前記固定部は、前記光ファイバの先端側の側面を固定するための部分円弧状をなす固定用溝部を有し、前記実装基板は、前記光ファイバの中心軸に対向する平面状の前記実装部を有するものである。
Claims (10)
- 電気信号を光信号に変換して、当該光信号の光を出射する発光素子と、
前記発光素子からの出射光を集光するための集光部が端部に一体形成され、前記集光部を介して入射された前記光信号を伝送する光ファイバと、
前記発光素子を実装するための実装部、及び、当該実装部に実装された前記発光素子からの前記出射光を前記集光部に入射させる位置に前記光ファイバを固定するための固定部が一体形成された異型基板からなる実装基板と、を備えたことを特徴とする光信号送信モジュール。 - 前記固定部は、前記発光素子が実装された前記実装基板の一端側に向けて、前記実装基板の他端側から前記光ファイバの先端を挿入して固定するための固定用穴部であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光信号送信モジュール。
- 前記実装基板は、前記実装部が設定された実装基板の一端面と、前記固定用穴部とを連通する貫通孔を有し、
前記固定用穴部は、前記発光素子から出射された前記光信号の光を、前記貫通孔を通じて前記集光部に入射させる位置に、前記光ファイバを固定することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の光信号送信モジュール。 - 前記実装部は、前記固定用穴部の端面に設定されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の光信号送信モジュール。
- 前記実装基板は、1つの前記固定部に対して複数の前記実装部を有し、
前記固定部は、複数の前記実装部にそれぞれ実装された前記発光素子から出射する光信号の光を前記集光部に入射させる位置に、前記光ファイバを固定することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光信号送信モジュール。 - 複数の前記実装部にそれぞれ実装された前記発光素子は、互いに異なる波長の光を光信号として出射することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の光信号送信モジュール。
- 複数の前記実装部にそれぞれ実装された前記発光素子は、互いに20nm以上異なる波長のレーザ光を光信号として出射することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の光信号送信モジュール。
- 複数の前記実装部は、前記光ファイバの光軸に対して傾斜して配置されていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の光信号送信モジュール。
- 前記集光部は、曲面によって構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光信号送信モジュール。
- 前記発光素子は、面発光レーザであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光信号送信モジュール。
