Abstract
Description
すなわち本発明は次のとおりである。
(1) 雄ねじ部と、該雄ねじ部より管端側に延在するノーズ部と、該ノーズ部の先端に設けられたショルダ部とを有するピンと、前記雄ねじ部とねじ結合されてねじ部をなす雌ねじ部と、前記ピンのノーズ部外周面に相対するシール面と、前記ピンのショルダ部に当接するショルダ部とを有するボックスとを有し、前記ねじ結合により前記ピンとボックスとが結合されてピンの前記ノーズ部外周面とボックスの前記シール面とがメタル‐メタル接触しその接触部がシール部をなす鋼管用ねじ継手であって、ピンのノーズ部外周面が単一のテーパ形状であり、ボックスのシール面が外側に凸の曲面形状であり、下記式で定義されるシールポイントxpが0.2インチ以上であることを特徴とする鋼管用ねじ継手。
シールポイントxpの計算において、積分範囲の下限、上限であるx1,x2は、ピン3とボックス1の同寸縦断面図をそれらの管軸同士及びショルダ面同士が互いに一致するように重ね合わせたときの、ピンノーズ外周面31とシール面21との二交点(これら二交点はそれぞれ、シール部20のピン先端側の端点とねじ側の端点とに対応する)の各x座標と同定される。ここでx軸は管軸方向に平行であり、ピンノーズ先端を原点とする。つまり、xはピンノーズ先端からの管軸方向の距離である。又、接触面圧pは、ISO13679のシリーズAテストにおけるLP2を模擬したFEA計算から、xの関数として求められる。ここで、同FEA計算では、要素サイズは0.001〜0.01インチとされ、ボックスおよびピンは弾塑性体であると仮定される。

Claims (1)
- 雄ねじ部と、該雄ねじ部より管端側に延在するノーズ部と、該ノーズ部の先端に設けられたショルダ部とを有するピンと、前記雄ねじ部とねじ結合されてねじ部をなす雌ねじ部と、前記ピンのノーズ部外周面に相対するシール面と、前記ピンのショルダ部に当接するショルダ部とを有するボックスとを有し、前記ねじ結合により前記ピンとボックスとが結合されてピンの前記ノーズ部外周面とボックスの前記シール面とがメタル‐メタル接触しその接触部がシール部をなす鋼管用ねじ継手であって、ピンのノーズ部外周面が単一のテーパ形状であり、ボックスのシール面が外側に凸の曲面形状であり、下記式で定義されるシールポイントxpが0.2インチ以上であることを特徴とする鋼管用ねじ継手。
