Description
(2)送電コイル11に供給電力が異なるふたつのパルス電力が供給されると、送電コイル11に電流が流れ、この電流によって電流検出抵抗16Aの両端に交流信号が誘導される。この交流信号は差動アンプ16Bで増幅(図1の波形Y)され、整流回路16Cで整流されて直流信号(図1の波形Z)として判定回路17に入力される。
(3) 判定回路17は、入力される直流信号をA/Dコンバータでデジタル信号に変換し、A/Dコンバータから出力されるふたつのパルス信号の振幅、すなわち、ふたつの電流値を、メモリに記憶している閾値に比較する。判定回路17は、図3に示すように、ふたつのパルス信号の振幅、すなわち送電コイル11の電流値が、いずれも閾値よりも大きい状態では異物がセットされたと判定する。また、判定回路17は、図4に示すように、ふたつのパルス信号のうち小さい振幅、すなわち小さい電流値が閾値よりも低く、かつ大きい振幅で検出される大きい電流値が閾値よりも大きいと、電池内蔵機器50がセットされたと判定する。さらにまた、判定回路17は、図5に示すように、ふたつのパルス信号の両方の振幅、すなわち両方の電流値が閾値よりも小さいと、電池内蔵機器50も異物もセットされないと判定する。

Claims (5)
- 充電台(10)に電池内蔵機器(50)をセットし、充電台(10)の送電コイル(11)に電池内蔵機器(50)の受電コイル(51)を電磁結合して、送電コイル(11)から受電コイル(51)に電磁誘導作用で電力搬送して、受電コイル(51)に誘導される電力で電池内蔵機器(50)の電池(52)を充電する無接点充電方法であって、
充電台(10)が、所定の時間間隔で送電コイル(11)に、供給電力が異なる複数のパルス電力を供給し、供給電力が異なるパルス電力を供給する状態における送電コイル(11)の電流を検出し、供給電力が異なるパルス電力に対する送電コイル(11)の電流値の相違から充電台(10)に異物がセットされたことを検出する無接点充電方法。 - 検出する複数の電流値をあらかじめ記憶している閾値に比較し、全ての検出電流が閾値よりも低い状態で、異物と電池内蔵機器(50)がセットされないと判定し、いずれかの検出電流が閾値よりも低く、いずれかの検出電流が閾値よりも大きい状態で異物がセットされないと判定し、全ての検出電流が閾値よりも高い状態で異物がセットされたと判定する請求項1に記載される無接点充電方法。
- 充電台(10)が送電コイル(11)にパルス電力を供給する時間が1msec〜50msecである請求項1又は2に記載される無接点充電方法。
- 充電台(10)が、所定の時間間隔で2回、パルス電力を供給する請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載される無接点充電方法。
- 充電台(10)が送電コイル(11)に流れる電流を整流して電流を検出する請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載される無接点充電方法。
