Abstract
Description
(A)エチレン−プロピレン系ゴム。
(B)硫黄加硫剤。
(C)融点が66〜105℃のチウラム系加硫促進剤。
(a)エチレン−プロピレン系ゴム。
(b)融点が120℃以上の加硫促進剤。
また、従来のホースの製法によれば、プロテクタ層形成用のゴム組成物を押出成形した後、この未加硫ホースを加硫缶に移動して加硫工程を行っており、押出成形工程と加硫工程とを別々(非連続的)に行っていた。しかしながら、本発明の製法によると、押出成形工程と加硫工程とを連続的に行うため、作業性が向上し、低コスト化、製造時間の短縮化を図ることができる。
(A)エチレン−プロピレン系ゴム。
(B)硫黄加硫剤。
(C)融点が66〜105℃のチウラム系加硫促進剤。
(a)エチレン−プロピレン系ゴム。
(b)融点が120℃以上の加硫促進剤。
上記ポリアミド系樹脂層1を形成するポリアミド系樹脂としては、例えば、ポリアミド6(PA6)、ポリアミド46(PA46)、ポリアミド66(PA66)、ポリアミド92(PA92)、ポリアミド99(PA99)、ポリアミド610(PA610)、ポリアミド612(PA612)、ポリアミド1010(PA1010)、ポリアミド11(PA11)、ポリアミド912(PA912)、ポリアミド12(PA12)、ポリアミド6とポリアミド66との共重合体(PA6/66)、ポリアミド6とポリアミド12との共重合体(PA6/12)、芳香族系ナイロン等があげられる。これらは単独でもしくは2種以上併せて用いられる。これらのなかでも、耐加水分解性、耐薬品性の点から、PA12が好ましい。
〈エチレン−プロピレン系ゴム(A成分)〉
上記エチレン−プロピレン系ゴム(A成分)としては、エチレン−プロピレン共重合体(EPM)、エチレン−プロピレン−ジエン三元共重合体(EPDM)があげられ、これらは単独でもしくは併用して用いられる。
上記硫黄加硫剤(B成分)としては、粉末硫黄、沈降硫黄、不溶性硫黄等の硫黄が使用される。
上記特定のチウラム系加硫促進剤(C成分)としては、融点が66〜105℃のものが使用される。上記特定のチウラム系加硫促進剤(C成分)の融点が低すぎると、第1のゴム材料と第2のゴム材料とを混ぜ合わせた際に、貯蔵安定性が悪化し、融点が高すぎると、第1のゴム材料と第2のゴム材料とを混ぜ合わせた際に、分散性が悪くなり、加硫速度が遅くなる。
〈エチレン−プロピレン系ゴム(a成分)〉
上記エチレン−プロピレン系ゴム(a成分)としては、上記第1のゴム材料で例示したエチレン−プロピレン系ゴム(A成分)と同じものを使用することができる。
上記特定の加硫促進剤(b成分)としては、融点が120℃以上のものが使用され、好ましくは融点が120〜245℃の範囲のものである。上記特定の加硫促進剤(b成分)の融点が低すぎると、第1のゴム材料と第2のゴム材料とを混ぜ合わせる際に加硫速度が遅くなる。

軽井沢製錬所社製、サルファックスT−10
下記の表1に示す各成分を同表に示す割合で配合し、ゴム材料を調製した。
各ゴム材料を、室温(25℃)で90日間静置して、JIS K6300−1に準拠し、ムーニーの読みで最低値より5M上昇したときのスコーチタイムを計測した。なお、この測定には、上島製作所製のVR−1132を使用した。評価はスコーチタイが10分以上のものを○とし、10分未満のものを×とした。
〔実施例1〕
エチレン、ヘキサフルオロプロピレンおよびテトラフルオロエチレンのコポリマー(EFEP)(ダイキン工業社製、ネオフロンRP5000)およびポリアミド12(PA12)(アルケマ社製、リルサン AESN NOIR P20TL、融点170℃)のペレットをホース状に共押し出し成形して、最内層(フッ素樹脂層)の外周面に内層(ポリアミド系樹脂層)を有する樹脂ホースを作製した。また、上記第1のゴム材料および第2のゴム材料を別々に調製し、これらをスクリュー式混合機(三葉製作所製、60G-12D-HB)内で混ぜ合わせて、プロテクタ層形成用のゴム組成物を調製した。混ぜ合わせ時の温度は80〜105℃に調整した。続いて、このゴム組成物を上記内層(ポリアミド系樹脂層)の外周に連続的に押出成形して未加硫ホースを作製し、これを熱風炉に連続的に供給して、上記未加硫ゴムを加硫(150℃×5分)してプロテクタ層を形成した。これにより、最内層(厚み0.5mm)の外周面に内層(厚み1.5mm)が形成され、さらにその外周面にプロテクタ層(厚み2mm)が形成されてなるホース(内径3mm)を連続的に作製した。
プロテクタ層形成用ゴム組成物の配合を、下記の表2に示す組み合わせ(ゴム材料Aおよびゴム材料C)に変更した。それ以外は、実施例1と同様にして、最内層の外周面に内層が形成され、さらにその外周面にプロテクタ層が形成されてなるホースを連続的に作製した。
プロテクタ層形成用ゴム組成物として、ゴム材料Dのみを使用する以外は、実施例1と同様にして、最内層の外周面に内層が形成され、さらにその外周面にプロテクタ層が形成されてなるホースを連続的に作製した。
160℃と135℃の加硫曲線を使用し、タグチメソッド〔参考書籍:タグチメソッド(日科技連, 2004)、タグチメソッド入門(日本経済新聞社, 2009)〕により、温度応答性の評価を行った。すなわち、レオメーター測定装置により各温度(試験温度160℃と135℃、試験時間30分)での加硫曲線を取得し、測定開始から約5分後〜30分後のトルク値(平均値)から、最小二乗法を用いた回帰直線の傾斜(β)〔直線近似した際の傾き〕と、回帰直線周りのデータの標準偏差(σ)とから、SN比〔η=10log(β2/σ2)にて算出〕を求めた。評価はSN比が50以上のものを○、50未満のものを×とした。

(a)エチレン−プロピレン系ゴム。
(b)ジチオカルバミン酸塩系加硫促進剤、チアゾール系加硫促進剤およびキサントゲン酸塩系加硫促進剤からなる群から選ばれた少なくとも一つの、融点が120℃以上の加硫促進剤。
Claims (6)
- 管状のポリアミド系樹脂層の外周にプロテクタ層が形成されてなるプロテクタ層付きホースの製法であって、下記の(A)〜(C)成分を含有する第1のゴム材料と、下記の(a)および(b)成分を含有し、硫黄加硫剤を実質的に含有しない第2のゴム材料とを別々に準備し、これらを混合機内で混ぜ合わせてプロテクタ層形成用のゴム組成物を調製する工程と、上記ゴム組成物を予め作製したポリアミド系樹脂層の外周に連続的に押出成形した後、未加硫ゴムを連続加硫してプロテクタ層を形成する工程を備えることを特徴とするプロテクタ層付きホースの製法。
(A)エチレン−プロピレン系ゴム。
(B)硫黄加硫剤。
(C)融点が66〜105℃のチウラム系加硫促進剤。
(a)エチレン−プロピレン系ゴム。
(b)融点が120℃以上の加硫促進剤。 - (C)成分が、テトラエチルチウラムジスルフィドである請求項1記載のプロテクタ層付きホースの製法。
- (b)成分が、ジメチルジチオカルバミン酸亜鉛および2−メルカプトベンゾチアゾールの少なくとも一方である請求項1または2記載のプロテクタ層付きホースの製法。
- ポリアミド系樹脂層が、ポリアミド12(PA12)からなる層である請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のプロテクタ層付きホースの製法。
- 加硫温度が100〜170℃である請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のプロテクタ層付きホースの製法。
- (B)成分の含有量が(A)成分100重量部に対して1〜4重量部、(C)成分の含有量が(A)成分100重量部に対して0.1〜3重量部、(b)成分の含有量が(a)成分100重量部に対して2〜6重量部である請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のプロテクタ層付きホースの製法。
