図1は、本発明に係る端部加工装置11の全体を示した概略図である。図2は、端部加工装置11を構成する支持装置を説明する図であり、図2(a)は正面図、図2(b)は平面図である。さらに、図3は、油井管とサポートローラとの間の位置関係を示す説明図であり、図3(a)は径の大きな油井管の場合を示し、図3(b)は径の小さな油井管の場合を示す。
端部加工装置11は、この油井管LPの一方の側の端部に所定のねじを切削するねじ切り機に設けられたチャック12と、このチャック12と直列に配置され、少なくとも油井管LPの他方の側の端部を支持する例えば4組の支持装置13−1〜13−4とを備える。なお、支持装置13は、通常、油井管LPの長手方向へ1〜20個配置される。
以上、本発明の実施の形態について説明したが、本発明はこれらの例示に限定されるものではなく、特許請求の範囲に示された技術的思想の範疇において適宜変更可能なことは言うまでもない。
Claims (3)
- 被加工材の一方の端部の近傍を保持する回転可能なチャックと、該チャックの近傍に配置され、該チャックとともに回転する被加工材の一方の端部に所定の加工を施すべく、前記被加工材の一方の端部に対する相対位置を制御可能な加工工具と、回転する前記被加工材の他方の端部を該被加工材に追従して支持する支持装置を有し、該支持装置は、前記被加工材の両側に配置される上下2個で対をなす4個のサポートローラと、該上下2個で対をなすサポートローラをそれぞれ被加工材に対して一体として個別に接離移動させるエアーシリンダとを有することを特徴とする端部加工装置。
- 前記4個のサポートローラは、全て同じ外径で前記被加工材の軸方向の同一平面に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の端部加工装置。
- 請求項1又は2に記載の端部加工装置を用いて管の端部を加工する工程を含むことを特徴とする管製造方法。
