Abstract

PURPOSE:To evade a deadlock by providing an interlocking controller releasing a lock which a designated access source device has set in correspondence with a request from a supervisory device. CONSTITUTION:Plural processors 1-3 share a storage device through the interlocking controller 4. Respective controllers respectively and independently operate and they can respectively request the lock and the lock release of an area in the storage device to the interlocking controller 4. The supervisory device 6 always supervises the action of the processors 1-3. When it detects that one controller is in a state that it cannot release the lock, said device 6 starts a lock release request circuit 61 and transmits identification information of the processor and a lock release request to the interlocking controller 4. It receives them and releases the lock which is set by the request of the designated controller.
