PURPOSE:To achieve a higher measuring accuracy, by measuring pressure outside a shroud with a first pressure detection tube on the upstream side from an internal pump while pressure in the shroud is done with a second pressure detection tube on the downstream side of the internal pump. CONSTITUTION:As a pressure detection end 21A is arranged on the upstream side at a distance more than doubling the diameter of a diffuser from an inlet of an internal pump, a pressure on the upstream side of the internal pump 12 can be measured accurately without being affected by a disturbance of the flow of a spiral flow or the like generated near the inlet of the internal pump 12. A cooling water discharged from the internal pump 12 flows into a lower plenum 15 through an opening 16, eliminating a disturbance of the flow such as spiral flow generated near a discharge port of the internal pump 12. Thus, a pressure detection end 22A is provided in the lower plenum pump 15 on the downstream side from the opening 16 thereby enabling accurate measurement of a pressure on the downstream side from the lower plenum pump 12. This enables the determining of the flow rate of a core cooling water accurately.
