Abstract
PURPOSE:To decide the reliability of the result of measurement by providing means for measuring two absorbancies with the time lag provided after addition of a 1st reaction reagent and liquidating the measurement range of a sample from the difference between these absorbancies. CONSTITUTION:A reaction tube 20 into which the sample is dispensed by a sampling mechanism 3 moves to a 1st reagent dispensing mechanism 5 where the 1st reagent is dispensed therein. The sample is sucked into an absorbancy measuring mechanism 7 right after the addition of this reagent and is subjected to the measurement of the absorbancy of the analysis reagent. The reaction tube 22 moves to a 2nd analysis reagent dispensing mechanism 6 and is subjected to the supply of the 2nd analysis reagent in the stage when the preliminary measurement ends in such a manner. The glucose formed in accordance with the concn. of the desired component in the sample consumes out the nicotineamide adenidinucleotide phosphoric acid at the ratio proportional to the concn. thereof. The mechanism 7 sucks the sample at the two points of the time after a specified time interval simultaneously therewith to obtain the 1st and 2nd absorbancies. The difference between these absorbancies indicates the concn. of the desired component in the sample. The reliability of the result of the measurement is thus decided.
