Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the operability of an automatic analyzer, by a method wherein a reaction table is made to turn forward and backward during a period of successively measuring a sample to stop sample and reaction containers at the specified position.
CONSTITUTION: A driving gear 12 using a pulse motor is connected to a reaction table 10 in series in such a manner that the gear can be turned forward and backward. In addition, on the reaction table 10 is provided a row of containers 14 loaded with samples to be analyzed, while a row of reaction containers 16 are installed inside the table. During a period from the measurement of a first sample at the position of a photometer to that of a second sample at its measuring position, the reaction, table is made to turn forward and backward to stop the sample container and the reaction container at the specified position. By so doing, analysis in different conditions including reaction time and reagent injecting time can be made only by changing the program of the analyzer, so that operability is improved.
