Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the failure of valve opening operation and maloperation to occur with the valve opening operation of a main steam separation valve to be automated by giving valve opening signals for opening inside and outside main steam separation valves, a drain valve and an equalizing valve respectively according to a valve opening operation procedure memorized in a storage device. CONSTITUTION:A mode switch 21 outputs valve opening signals for opening a drain valve 8 and an equalizing valve 9 installed on a drain pipe and an equalizing line connected to inside and outside main steam separation valves 4, 5. A procedure storage device 23 stores a valve opening operation procedure for fully opening the inside and outside main steam separation valves 4, 5. A pressure difference monitor 22 detects and monitors the pressure difference between the reactor side of the inside main steam separation valve 4 and the turbine side thereof. A valve position controller 24 gives a valve opening signal to the inside steam separation valve 4 to fully open when it gives and opens a valve opening signal from the mode switch 21 to the drain valve 8, the outside steam separation valve 5 and the equalizing valve 9 in the order according to the valve opening operation procedure of the storage device 23, while the detected pressure difference of the monitor 22 becomes less than the set value.
