Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve quality of a picture image by forming a base body from an Al alloy contg. 0.1-3.0wt.% Mg, 0.01-0.20wt.% Si, 0.01-0.50wt.% Cu, and 0.01-0.20wt.% Ti, and finishing the surface of the base body with a cutting tool having roundness. CONSTITUTION:A base body of a photosensitive body 1 is formed from an Al alloy contg. 0.1-3.0wt.% Mg, 0.01-0.20wt.% Si, 0.01-0.50wt.% Cu, and 0.01-0.20wt.% Ti, and the surface of the base body 1 is finished with a cutting tool 8 having roundness in the cutting part 8a. By constituting the base body of an Al alloy having an above described chemical compsn., and using a cutting tool having roundness in the cutting part, the grindability of the base body is improved causing scarcely sticking of fine Al powder or the surface of the base body during grinding and cutting, and the tissue of the base body contains scarcely crystallized phase and deposited phase to be avoided as causes for surface defect. By this constitution, a good recorded image contg. scarce defect is obtd.
