Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve surface characteristics of a base body of a photosensitive body and to improve the quality of picture image by constituting the base body of an Al alloy contg. 0.1-3.0wt.% Mg, 0.01-0.20wt.% Si, and 0.01-0.50wt.% Cu, and finishing the surface of the base body with a cutting tool having roundness. CONSTITUTION:A base body 1 of a photosensitive body is constituted of an Al alloy contg. 0.1-3.0wt.% Mg, 0.01-0.20wt.% Si, and 0.01-0.50wt.% Cu, and the surface of the base body 1 is finished with a cutting tool 7 having roundness in the cutting part 8a. By constituting a base body of an Al alloy having said chemical compsn., and finishing with a cutting tool having roundness in the cutting part 8a, a tissue of the base body having satisfactory grindability causing scarcely sticking of fine Al powder to the surface of the base body during grinding or cutting, and contg. only small amt. of crystallized phase or deposited phase to be avoided as causes for surface defect, is obtd. By this constitution, a good recorded image contg. scarcely defect is obtd. Thus, the surface characteristics of a base body and the quality of image are improved.
