る脱酸作用から湯流れが改善されて鋳造が容易、良好で
精密形状が可能となり、ピンホール、巣等の欠陥もない
ものである。ここで0.01重量%未満だと精密鋳造性改善
の効果がなく、1重量%を越えるとPtの高品位及び特
性を損なうものである。また、残部Ptであることから
Ptの高品位が維持できるものである。なお、99.0重量
%未満だと高品位が確保し難く、99.99重量%を越える
と鋳造性改善効果がないものである。また、本発明の精
密鋳造装飾品用Pt素材による鋳造品は、機械的強度特
に硬さが改善されるもので、疵がつき難く、変形し難い
ものである。また、精密鋳造後の細部の加工、切削性も
容易で良好で、研磨性にも優れ、研磨し易く、研磨後の
光沢も良好で、高品位Pt特有の色、ツヤを発揮できる
ものである。特に機械的強度が強いことから立爪リング

【実施例】以下に実施例と従来例について述べる。ま
ず、実施例としてPtにSmを4重量%含有した材料を
母合金として、高周波真空溶解炉にて溶解鋳造して所定
の含有量0.01重量%、 0.2重量%、1重量%の組成と
し、次いで圧延加工にて6mm角の精密鋳造品用Pt素材
とした。また、従来例として純度99.9%の純Pt(T
i、Zr、Hf、希土類元素を含まない)を溶解、鋳
造、圧延加工にて6mm角の精密鋳造品用Pt素材とし
た。然して、上記実施例、従来例の精密鋳造品用Pt素
材を用い精密鋳造法にて指輪に成型、その後研摩、切削
して指輪とした。その結果、従来例においては一部形状
の欠け、寸法規格外があったのに対し、実施例において
は形状、寸法の良好なものであった。また、仕上げ外観
品質検査の結果、実施例の色合い、ツヤ共良好なもので
あった。さらに、機械的強度についても良好であること
が確認された。特に含有量0.2重量%について硬さを調
べた結果、従来例においてはHv45〜50であったのに対
して、表1に示すようにHv73と硬く良好なものであっ

造法により精密形状を得ることができるという優れた効
果を有するものである。また硬さが硬いので、疵がつき
難い、変形し難い鋳造品が得られるという優れた効果を
有するものである。また、鋳造後の切削性、研磨性にも
優れており、加工し易く、高品位Pt特有の色、ツヤを
