Abstract

CONSTITUTION:A switching control circuit 7 lowers the upper limit of a limiter circuit 2 when the maximum value of the horizontal synchronizing frequency to be processed by a switch circuit 6 is set lower and makes the mode signal with the horizontal synchronizing frequency higher than the maximum value ineffective thereby preventing destruction of circuit components and malfunction. On the other hand, when the horizontal synchronizing frequency to be processed by the switch circuit 6 is set higher, the circuit 7 sets the upperlimit of the limiter circuit 2 higher and passes the voltage signal in response to the horizontal synchronizing frequency within the range and makes the mode signal in response to the voltage signal effective.
