Abstract
PURPOSE:To accurately scale a sample and to easily measure the moisture in the sample by making a titration solvent flow to a circulation path outside a titration chamber and admitting a sample to be measured in the titration chamber by using the titration solvent in the circulation path as a carrier solution. CONSTITUTION:A moisture measurement part 11 and the titration chamber 12 are provided in a moisture measurement part 10 and an electrolyte 13 is put in the titration chamber 12; and a Karl Fischer's reagent is generated by electrolysis and the water of the electrolyte 13 is blank-erased. Then the electrolyte 13 is sucked by a pump 21 through a tube 17 to the passage A-A' of a sample metering part 22 and returned to the titration chamber 12 through a tube 18, thus forming the circulation path for the electrolyte 13. Further, the sample 13 to be measured is admitted into the passage B-B' of the sample metering part 22, which is rotated by 90 deg. to admit the sample 31 to be measured in the passage B-B' of the sample metering part 22 and conveys it to the titration chamber 12, thereby measuring the moisture of the sample 31 to be measured. Thus, the measurement of the sample is automated, so an error in measurement is eliminated and the operability is improved.
