Abstract
PURPOSE:To avoid the concentration of an electric field applied to an entry resistor and to obtain an input protective circuit for a semiconductor with excellent surge resistance by connecting entry resistors from the bonding pad of the protective circuit with aluminum wirings by aligning in parallel polysilicons. CONSTITUTION:Polysilicon resistors 2 are linear between contacts and not bent. In order to connect a plurality of the resistors, an entry resistor is formed with aluminum wirings. In an input protective film for a semiconductor, constructed in this manner, the resistors 2 aligned in parallel are connected in series with aluminum wirings 3, and its resistance value is accordingly increased. Further, since an electric field is applied linearly to the resistor, even if an excess input is applied, it is scarcely broken down, and it operates to escape a current to a GND through the protective film.
