Abstract

PURPOSE:To rationalize, facilitate and speed up optical fiber connection by constituting the titled device in such a manner that optical fibers can be easily aligned by the interactions of a tape supplying means, tape fixing means and optical fiber positioning means. CONSTITUTION:This arraying device is constituted of a rolled tape (tape supplying means) 4 which supplies a self-adhesive tape, the tape fixing base (tape fixing mean) 6 for fixing the self-adhesive tape and the positioning groove part (optical fiber positioning means) 7 for aligning the optical fibers 1. The tape supplying means 4 acts to supply the self-adhesive tape, the tape fixing means 6 acts to fix the supplied self-adhesive tape on the prescribed plane, and the optical fiber positioning means 7 acts to juxtapose the plural optical fibers 1 successively on the self-adhesive tape fixed on the prescribed plane. The optical fiber connection is thereby rationalized, facilitated and speeded up.
