Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the titled structure having high reliability, by providing a supporter, a storing plate, a holder of the connected part, a fiber guide, etc. to support the optical fiber fixed on the wall face of a joint chamber with a curvature larger than a certain value. CONSTITUTION:A cage consists of a connecting part storing disk 28, a supporter 27 and a fiber guide 29. The optical fiber connecting part led onto the disk 28 is fixed at a supporting part 32 of a connecting part holder 33, and the optical fibers 2 provided at both sides of the part 32 are set along a sliding groove 34 and a fiber guide 29 which are provided so as to secure a radius larger than the minimum allowable value. In such way, the connecting part is always fixed and the curvature is kept constant for the optical fibers provided before and after the connecting part. Thus the high reliability is obtained for the connecting part storing structure.
