Abstract
PURPOSE:To detect a leak of a liquefied gas, by detecting a change in current caused by a temperature difference between the normal temperature and a low-temperature liquefied gas with a sensor comprising a silicon diode. CONSTITUTION:This apparatus has a silicon diode 1 for monitoring room temperature and a silicon diode 2 for detecting a leak of a low-temperature liquefied gas and a change in current of the two silicon diodes 1 and 2 is detected with a differential amplifier 3 to obtain an output 4, which facilitates the detection of a leak of the low-temperature liquefied gas. The output 4 is shown on a display section or an alarm section is driven thereby enabling easy and accurate detection of a leak of the liquefied gas.
