Abstract

PURPOSE:To surely detect a moving human body and static human body by constituting a 1st human body detecting sensor in such a manner as to detect the human body moving in the entire detection range and a 2nd human body detecting sensor in such a manner as to detect the human body static in a static human body detecting range. CONSTITUTION:A human body detector 13 consists of the 1st and 2nd human body sensors 13A, 13B. The sensor 13A consists of a pyroelectric type sensor and has a wide detection range to the human body while having a low sensitivity to the static human body. The sensor 13B consists of thermopiles and has the high detection sensitivity to the static human body while having the narrow detection range to the human body. The entire detection range R1 is detected by the sensor 13A and the static human body detection range R2 provided within a part of the range R1 is detected by the sensor 13B. The human body moving, for example, between a door 10a and a seat 10B is, therefore, detected within the range R1 by the sensor 13A and the human body staying still on the seat 10B in the range R2 is detected by the sensor 13B. Wide setting of the range R1 when there is the range R2 in the range R1 is thus enabled and the sure detection of the moving human body and the static human body is enabled.
