Abstract
PURPOSE:To attempt the improvement of reliability and the like by completely separating a high temperature section from a low temperature section in such a way as to drive a compressor driven turbine by gas dropped in both temperature and pressure after an output turbine has been driven by gas kept high in both temperature and pressure exhausted from a combustor. CONSTITUTION:A two shaft type high temperature gas turbine is composed of a compressor 1, an intake air duct 2, an exhaust air duct 3, a heat exchanger 4, an intermediate duct 5, a combustor 6, a combustor outer cylinder 7, a compressor driven turbine 8, an output turbine 9 and the like. In this constitution, the output turbine 9 is arranged beneath the combustor 6, and the compressor driven turbine 8 is arranged in the downstream of the output turbine 9 concurrently. Then, the compressor driven turbine 8 is driven by gas dropped in both temperature and pressure after the output turbine 9 has been driven by gas kept high in both temperature and pressure exhausted from the combustor 6. Owing to this constitution, the combustor 6 and the output turbine 9 forming a high temperature section is completely separated from both the compressor 1 and the compressor driven turbine 8 forming a low temperature section.
