Abstract

PURPOSE:To form a uniform plating film excellent in adhesive strength and corrosion resistance, by carrying out hot dip aluminizing after previously tinning a steel sheet at the time of manufacturing an aluminized steel sheet by spraying molten Al on the surface of a steel sheet. CONSTITUTION:A tinning film 11 is previously formed by electroplating on the surface of a steel sheet 10, and then the steel sheet 10 is moved in the direction of an arrow W on conveyance rollers 13. An Al sheet 8 is fed via guide rolls 9 in a sealing part 5 into the well part 2 of a nozzle 1 located above the steel sheet 10, and, while supplying a nonoxidizing atmospheric gas, such as Ar, through a valve 6 into the well part 2, the Al sheet is melted by heating by means of a heater 4 into molten Al and this molten Al 3 is allowed to flow continuously onto the surface of the moving tinned steel sheet 10 via a slit 7 in the bottom of the well part 2, by which a hot dip aluminizing film 12 can be formed with superior adhesive strength.
