Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve safety in a heating device by means of liquid-fuel combustion by carrying out blasting and scavenging for a certain time at the time of starting an operation and, then, electrifying a heater to vaporize remaining fuel, and scavenging again before starting a combustion operation. CONSTITUTION:As an operation is indicated, a combustion controller turns on the combustion air blast motor 13 of a combustor according to a defined procedure to carry out scavenging for a defined time. And, then, only the heater 12 of the combustor is turned on the vaporize fuel remaining in the combustor. Then, the combustion air blast motor 13, together with the heater 12, is turned on the carry out the second scavenging. A fuel pump 11 is operated and ignition is carried out. By this structure, an explosion due to the remaining fuel can be prevented, improving safety.
