Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce energy loss so as to enable stable operation by forming a high temperature superconductor film which shows superconductive phenomena at more than the specified temperature in a high frequency acceleration cavity.
CONSTITUTION: A high temperature superconductive film 13 which shows superconductivity phenomenon at 90K or more is formed, by a film forming method, inside cavity part X for high frequency acceleration which is formed by bulging stainless steel beam pipe 11 and a refrigerant container 14 to cool the film 13 is provided outside the pipe 11. By this constitution, charged particles from a beam duct 11 are accelerated at the cavity part X by the electric field formed with high frequency introduced from an introduction hole 15. Then, a part of high frequency flows through the film 13 as a circulation current, but Joule's heat doesn't occur because the film 13 is in the superconductive condition. Further, the film 13 is made by a film forming method without recourse to welding, etc., so there is no nonuniformity and faulty part and the breakage never occur in the superconductive condition. Hereby, the energy loss is reduced and the stable operation can be executed.
