CONSTITUTION: Cooling by a cooler is stopped and a beam current is flowed continuously to rise temperatures of a high-frequency circuit and a collector to maximum rated temperatures, thereby performing a thermal ageing. Next, a voltage ageing is performed by applying pulses of the maximum rated voltage to the high- frequency circuit and the collector above.
