Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve display, capacity and the quality of display by coating an organic tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride component and a prescribed polyimid resin on a transparent substrate consisting of glass or plastics, forming a film with heat treatment and executing an orientation process. CONSTITUTION:The organic tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride component and a diamine component contg. substance whose number (m) of siloxane bonding is within the range of 1-10 by 0.05-10mol.% of all diamine components and the substance within the range of 11-150 by 0.05-10mol.% among silicon-based diamine shown in a formula I are made to react at the temperature 0-200 deg.C and coated on the transparent substrate consisting of the glass or the plastics. The film is formed by executing the heat treatment, to which the orientation process is executed. Moreover it is assumed that a pre-tilt angle is 5-20 deg.. In the formula I, R1 means methylene and phenylene, etc., R2 means methyl and phenylene, etc., (n) means 1 if R1 is phenylene or substituent phenylene and it means 3 or 4 if R1 is methylene. Thus, the display, the capacity and the quality of display can be improved.
