Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain a sufficient detecting sensitivity as well as to make it possible to execute correctly the detection of a torque having little hysteresis and being applied to such a shaft to be measured as a stationary shaft and a rotating shaft by a method wherein at least part of the shaft to be measured is made of a specified Fe-Ni alloy. CONSTITUTION:At least part of a shaft 2 to be measured forming a magnetic circuit is made using an Fe-Ni alloy; which contains Ni of 32-85wt.%, further contains at least either of C of 0.50wt.% or less and one kind or two kinds of Si and Mn of 2.0wt.% or less in total at need and similarly moreover, contains one kind or two kinds or more of Cr, Mo, W, V, Nb, Ta, Ti, Zr and Hf of 7wt.% or less in total or moreover, contains at least either of C of 0.05wt.% or less and one kind or two kinds of Si and Mn of 2.0wt.% or less in total and in addition to these, contains one kind or two kinds or more of Fi, Al and Nb of 7.0wt.% or less in total with the remnant which substantially consists of Fe; as its material.
