Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve inspection accuracy and efficiency by irradiating the internal wall surface with indirect light which is obtained by reflecting strobe light source irregularly, converting an image obtained by picking up the internal wall surface into a binary signal, and deciding whether or not the internal wall surface of a body to be inspected is wrinkled with the binary image signal. CONSTITUTION:When the body to be inspected is detected, that is reported to a central processing part 31, which turns on a strobe to emit light. The light is guided to the packing on the bottom part of the body to be inspected and reflected irregularly to illuminate the internal wall surface indirectly. A camera picks up an image of the body to be inspected and its video signal is converted by a binary coding part 23 into the binary signal, which is stored in a memory 26 for measurement pattern storage. Then an arithmetic part 29 extracts the contour of the measurement pattern to calculate the center of gravity, thereby calculating the quantity of position deviation from a reference pattern. Then the position of the measurement pattern is corrected, then a measurement window is set to count black picture elements in it, and the processing part 31 decides a normal product when the measured value is smaller than a permissible value. Consequently, it is securely decided whether or not there is a wrinkle and the inspection accuracy and efficiency are improved.
