Abstract
PURPOSE:To take a measurement with high accuracy by measuring the distance between a distance sensor which elevated vertically along the outer periphery of a ladle and rotates and the shell of the ladle at two height positions by the distance sensor finding the slanting direction and slanting angle of the ladle and finding the position shift of the ladle center, and correcting the ladle center position. CONSTITUTION:The distance sensor 21 measures distances DH and DL to the shell 1 at two height position on the outer periphery of the container, and DH is normally larger than DL. Then the distances DH and DL are measured at two positions which are at a distance H1 in the height direction and the direction where (DM-DL) is maximum or minimum is found to know the slanting direction of the pan. The measurement is carried out at plural positions on the circumference to measure concentrically the direction where (DM-DL) is large or small.
